I don't understand why everyone gets so upset about those hoof shoes. This is a fashion forum, right? Those shoes are certainly novelty shoes, not made by a designer with the intent of people actually wearing them. I'm not even sure they are wearable, perhaps they are just some concept of art piece. So why are they even discussed here... at a FASHION forum?

You seem to be the only one the ever gets upset when the hoof shoes are posted.
A lot of the shoes here are not wearable but it is still fashion and this is a fashion forum. You do not know the real story on these shoes, are they wearable, are they art? Therefore IMO I see no problem with it being discussed on this thread.

The snub-nosed Alexander McQueen python shoes could race the hoof shoes-- I'd say both are very excellent candidates for this thread!. Hoof shoes win-- by a nose!

I think we can all agree that fashion can be extremely subjective

Fashion need not be wearable, fashion can also be a form of art. I, for one, feel that the hooves & Alexander McQueen claws would fall under the artistic aspect of fashion rather than the wearable aspect.

Of course, they're still shoes, and if some people see them as ugly, then so be it

Back on topic, these are the cheapest shoes I have ever seen. Aurgh.

IMO, those McQueen claws are one of the most beautiful shoes ever made!

As work of art - they are amazing, I agree.
They're interesting, fresh and have nice lines.
As shoes, they're absolutely unwearable.
Like wearing modern art sculpture on your feet.

Agree with you. I'm in love in those McQueen shoes, they are incredible, one of the best shoes ever
