good idea. but will you be having pumpkin pie? Do you really want two pumpkin dishes? I had pumpkin soup two weeks ago though and it was delish.
What about a bit of tofurkey? I'm pretty sure you can order it off the website.

you can make a pumpkin puree, with cream, cinnamon, curry powder, corn....mmmmmmmmarcy248 said:Tofurky is so good. Last year after thanksgiving, I bought three of them on sale and made them periodically. Now I'm getting hungry just thinking about it!

Any vegetarian gravy?
marcy248 said:Also, if you're looking for a healthier alternative to the usual preparation of sweet potato/yam, try oven roasting. I use some of that cooking spray to coat the bottom of a cookie sheet, slice the yam into even slices, lay them on the cookie sheet, spray the tops of the slices with cooking spray, sprinkle with seasoning (garlic salt for a savory taste or cinnamon for a sweet taste), then cook at 350 for 20-30 minutes until cooked (depending on the thickness of the slices). They're delicious. Always a favorite when I cook for my friends.
fab_fifties_fille said:Yeah that's how I do them too in the UK we call them 'sweet potato' as opposed to Yam. I love it, the taste is great, and the texture when they've been cooked is lovely.
