anyway season 6 premiered in the UK on the 22nd August and its good so far.

I won't be watching this year. The other years were quite entertaining, but the talent this year (minus Miss Frank) is nothing short of mediocre (well that's the same case for every year, but it's at an all-time low now). They keep on kicking out the good acts!

i think Simon has the best group. I think Jamie Archer is the best out of that lot.

They really made some bad mistakes in choosing the final 12, and I know it's subjective but most people I've spoken to seem to think so too.

Those bloody twins :angry:

They are utter rubbish and also not very nice people either and Louis wants shot with s**t for picking them ......although I have my own ideas for why that happened :innocent:

What a pair of imbeciles though and I seriously hope that on saturday they are the first ones out the door, to teach them and Walsh a lesson. Although surely no-one can Louis seriously or in fact Cowell who is a major **** too.
Anyway on an entertainment level I'm looking forward to it and of course seeing Cheryl.

I agree this yeah isn't as good but just watch it for Miss FRANK :lol:

and if they get voted off then go abandon it because thats what i did with Diana last year she was amazing, had a beautiful and talented voice and was gorgeous so i watched for her.

I have to disagree with Diana. I hated that try-hard b*tch. It clearly sounded like she altered her natural voice to sound 'original'.

hehe somebody told me she sounds like a pixie but when she sings its absolutely beautiful. Alexandra is going to sing tonight i hope she does her backflip :lol:

ok at the moment is comercials so im going to update quick about whats going on here in the UK

Rachel is the first to perform and has done the best so far

Kandy Rain were over sexual and Simon Cowell and Cheryl got into an argument

Olly had a fun personality and did good

Riki apparently had a "wet" performance and was given the wrong song choice

Jamie is next and hes going to sing after the comercials finish

I liked that 'lively discussion' they got into, about whether it was appropriate for the girls to be wearing provocative stage clothing when there'd been tabloid interest in their stripping background.

I like Jamie as a personality, but I fear his performances aren't going to offer up any surprises, unless he really makes an effort to step outside of what he knows - what's worked for him in his singing career so far isn't going to work now that he's on that enormous stage and having to entertain thousands of people. It's a long way from the pub circuit - and while doing that for a living might have given him the confidence to face an audience, it might also make it much harder for him to adapt his mindset to the X-Factor way.

I wonder if the less experienced people almost have it easier, because they're more of a blank page when it comes to learning how to perform for huge audiences - they can't fall back into a practised routine that's automatic and more comfortable.

yeah after watching his performance tonight i think hes slipping hes just gone quiet all of a sudden unlike his first auditionthat was amazing but i have to say Lucie a few minutes ago was completely different :shock:

she had no personality in auditions but tonight she had so much confidence shes my new favourite so far

I think if Jamie starts to believe in himself and that he deserves to be on the x factor he should be fine but only time will tell. I have to say that I thought the twins were crap and they should have sung a different song.

I can see why they're there - they're so annoying that people can't help being drawn to them, and you can't have a show that's entirely populated with pretty girls and cute boys, you have to have some villains too, people that we'll love to hate.
