The X-Factor 2010 ... Do not post Photos from this show ... see post #1.

I think Mat was the best...
Cher's rapping is just embarassing... she won't get anywhere with it... in the US people would just probably laugh at her rapping... I think she should sing more cos her voice is ok...

Lol @ #42 Jared. Perfect high/low. THNX 4 posting.

Congrats again to BrianF on the staging last week.

Word from the Wagner camp is they are minded to give him Relax this Saturday.

Big Mistake in my humble.

And meanwhile welcome to our screens more ''is it/isn't it, high/low kitsch'' in the form of The Only Way is Essex.

Oh my god, the only way is essex is hilarious. I love ridiculous shows like that!

I'm starting to develop an inappropriate crush on the boys of One direction :ninja:

And I think I miss diva fever already :(

As a person, Cher has something that keeps people interested in her, but as a performer, I'd like to see her do something that doesn't involve twenty dancers and a rap. I'm also getting a bit tired of the overblown words of praise from the four of them.

She does have talent, but I'd like to see her pushed into expressing it, not serving up the same thing every week. That said, it's a similar story for most of the acts - having to stick to the formula they were given. But just one performance where Cher stands alone on the stage, and tackles a big song, with no funny trousers or distractions, just her voice, her vulnerability, and her strength.

^ I agree with your post tigerrouge, but last night I really enjoyed Cher's performance more than in previous weeks. Of course there will come a time on the show, when depending on the theme she will have to just stand there and sing (maybe a ballad) without the distractions of dancers, props and pyrotechnics.
Rebecca & Matt were great once again, Belle Amie played it way too safe, I can barely comment on Wagner and this week, even after all the praise she got on the show, I just didn't get Katie's performance.

And those who doubted me when I said Wagner for top 5..

And now the campaign hots up.

If in 2009 the Rage Against the Machine campaign can topple xfactor's 'strategy' of targeting Christmas number one, this year the mass media detournement goes to the heart of the show.

It's about demonstrating that the public can't be manipulated by mass media corporations.

There's only one choice - pro or anti - Wagner.

Next week - Louis, Brian

Please give Wagner Yazz & The Plastic People 'The Only Way is Up'

To make that 'Only Way is Essex' connection.

It will also be great for Wagner's vowels.

I had to wait until the end of the show to see it, but I'm glad Cher got to do something different.

Cher was ok this week.. its just scary how she looks more like cheryl every week

I really liked Cher tonight,it was such an emotional song but she really did it well.I think that this song came at right time, just to prove people that she can sing, she might not have the best voice ever but she has a lot of personality and charisma, and I liked her since the beginning.

at first i thought cher was cheryl...
still not liking cher. ugh

im liking rebecca more and more. it was so interesting to see her sing 'why don't you do right' last week. though not in peggy lee style but jessica rabbit style, it was still a pleasant surprise.

I loved Cher and Rebecca tonight. I prefer it when Cher isn't rapping although I did like her very first audition as it was different but really glad she showed her real talent tonight. Rebecca was faultless tonight too and like the judges said "pure class".

What did Katie look like though? I know its Halloween and everything but WOWSA. And why is Wagner still in?

I get the feeling that Cheryl supports Cher and Katie more than Rebecca and Treyc.

Well for all those folks who thought Cher was a one-trick pony (and I think I might have been one of them), she really proved otherwise last night. Stunning performance and a great song choice for her.
Rebecca was also outstanding. This week again I just didn't get Katie, Aiden was just odd and this week was the first weak performance from Matt.
I was totally pissing myself laughing at Wagner's performance this week.....bloody hell what was that?:lol:
Simon is such a prick......asking Cheryl where Treyc lived:ninja: He acts like a child, trying to catch her out like that. Thankfully she doesn't suffer fools gladly and he got one of her looks and some more. What an ****hole.
