hey people just as a reminder!! THE THING THAT COUNTS IS THE DESIGN AND CREATIVITY NOT THE DRAWINGS;) I want to point that because people sometimes feel ashamed of the drawings but their ideas are pretty good!!;) have fun and start DRAWING!:D

ok two have been posted!;) LOL one more and the deadline will be established hahaha

I will post! tomorrow or on monday, I'm not home so I can't scan my work...!!!

The first research I did was tro ask everyone around me what they thought about when I said Mexico. And everyone said spicy food, and I didn't want to make an taco-dress (wich seems big fun at this mo... ^_^)

and before I talk about my creation, I want to thank aaron95 for this challange, cause it was a real challenge for me...and I love challenges!

I called my creation Theme from Pinata, it's a Bright Eyes song (my fav band ), you can hear part of it here:
youtube clip
(if you want the whole song in studio version PM me).

It is the same dress in both pics, I made the one with the wooden-bat first, then I remebered I wanted to do an sombrero, so I did an other one

Ok, lets start with the dress... Its made with soft, thin layerd fabric. So it would look pinata like. When I googled "mexican clothes" I found that this sort of collar was a traditional one, so of course I used it.
The shoes is strappy platform-sandals, to put the sexiness too max.
And the sombrero is made of straw, and ended with yellow pearls.
The pattern behind the girl (in the sombrero pic) is the pattern on the sombrero. I read somewhere that the orginal Mexican pinata is a star with 7 edeges, so I wanted that star in the pattern... and the stars is blue, they got lost when scanning!!

I hope you get what I meen... I am a bit tired, I have been travelling all day but cant sleep :(
