ive been out every single day and night for the past couple of weeks, im leaving soon so im making the most of my time here while my friends are still around. Ive been away from the fashion spot or anything that has to do with internet haha i better get my hands on my design as soon as i can, oh and i forgot to set a deadline, i think it would be Saturday the 10th, is it okay? its just im leaving on sunday, if a a minimum of three designs are in or ill extend it if you guys need more time!
so here is mine ray of light. I know the sketch is awful (I wont let my art teachers see this!) but I couldn't find my watercolours (since I'm not home!) so I found some kids crayons 
Lets say its for the playfulnes that they show in the sooo 90s video
and the coulurs and focus are so bad, since I didn't wanted to mess up my dads scanner with the crayons I had to put the sketch in a plastic map...
- Its a gigantic mini bubble dress!
- the fabric is in midnight blue velvet
- the yellow is suppose to be gold fabric, two layers is gold tulle and one is some sort of metallic-shiny material
- its braided round the collor, and just "hang down loose" from the middle of the back

(wear with fishnet legging and bleck wedges!)

thats great perfect10, i love the crayon tecnique haha, right now im working on my own design, i think im overthinking about it, my song is so simple and fun but i turned into something too complex to put into paper...ill change it, see if i can post it tonight. good luck everyone!!

Heres my design, its inspire by the song "its not me" i like the rythm and the lyrics are fun. I decided i wanted to do two designs, one is basically a copycat of the other but with different styles, different personalities, cant tell which one is the real or the fake, they look alike but theyre not the same. ..."shes not me and she never will be"
I listened to "Isaac" off of Madonna's Confessions on a Dancefloor CD. Sorry the scan is a bit bad. It was done in charcoal and red and white pastels. here's an excerpt from the song:

Ok so i guess no more designs are in. I understand madonna is not everybodys cup of tea so i appreciate the effort of making a design based of oner of her songs, too bad only so many entered this challenge.
Couture.Retouch : Although we are supposed to only base our judging on the design i have to applaud your drawing skills, its true that the most important thing is the design but good drawing allow us to understand the design more precisely. The song you chose was pretty obvious but i love that you did a three piece outfit instead of a dress, bling bling was a must but you used it wisely. Im not sure if you can sit with that skirt but its fun to watch.
perfect10 : I love your illustrating techniques, you always come up with the most creative ways to present your designs. The song you chose is all fun but for some reason i couldnt relate that to your design, i understand you color palette, and proportions but it didnt come together as a whole, at least for me, it is lovely though but im not sure it is inspired by the song, specially the fabric choice.
SandraJH: I love your illustration, it is so simple yet so elegant and it shows your design very well. The song you chose is all deep and methaphoric and i think your illustration shows it very well, your dress as simple as it is relates to the whole feeling of the song i just wish you would have put more design on your dress, it relates well to the song but its been seen already, you had a lot of material on your hands. The illustration as a whole, with the posing of the model captures the essence of the song perfectly. The accesories are very interesting, maybe not that comfortable haha but adds to the theme.
So, good job everyone but theres only room for one winner

A bit off topic but i wanted to show you guys how my holiday dress turned out, the one i designed for Aarons past challenge, black tie holiday.
I only ended beading a small part in the center instead of the whole top and straps because i run out of time (as always) but i think it turned out nice, at least i got a lot of compliments and it was the most comfortable dress ever.

In this challenge you will need to take your spin in the traditional Indian Sari.
Examples of Saris:
You can make a swimsuit, and everyday outfit, a gown, or whatever it is that you can create that embodies the look and feel of a traditional Indian Sari.
OR
Leather and Lace
Very simple. Your design must be made mainly with leather and lace. While you may use other materials, the majority of the design should be constructed with leather and lace. You can make anything you want, swimsuit, gown, full outfit, etc.
Please copy and paste this(after you have filled it out) under your design:

Style(Edgy, classic, etc
Would you wear it?(If not, than who would you see this on?
