My best thrift score is probably my Nina Ricci blouse that I got for 1.4 euros (about 1.8 dollars!) in a finnish consignment shop.. It was love at first sight and the only thing in there that wasn't garbage, quite literally It's rather delicate, has a peter pan collar and pretty shell buttons.. I love it - a lot!

I am loving Ethel Austins at the moment (UK only I think). So far this week I've bought a beige thick cotton short sleeved fitted shirt, a long sleeved semi-transparent white fitted shirt, two v neck thin knitted jumpers with very loose v neck and baggy to the elbow sleeves one in the most gorgeous grey and the other black, and a pair of beige corduroy boot cuts. The most expensive things were the jumpers at £10 each. Problem is, I pass the shop on my way to pick the baby up from nursery and just have to keep popping in.

I was SOO excited last week when I saw all these scarves at the Goodwill!! Needless to say I bought them all, and for only $2.50! They are real!! The store workers don't even know how nice these are!

I've found a long list of stores in Exeter and Plymouth, but I won't have enough time to visit all of them.

borreguita check out the shop by city subforum... i would try to direct you toward a thread in there but i don't know much about the area or where you are so you'll probably have better luck...

try to do a search of florida or cities around you in there.. and then ask your question in a thread in there.. hopefully you'll get some responses from people who know the area

i didnt know the lady there didnt charge me until after i looked at the receipt...appearently...there was no price tag on the belt so she let it slip
