those shirtdresses are becoming the quirkiest 'night' uniform for the 'alternative' crowd, they are so totally cute (even in tiny b&w polka dots, and i'm quite anti-polkas)

^I love the shirtdress that Carri Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) wore in the first season of sex and the city.
I can't find any pictures though, because I don't remember wich episode it was.

I do love babydoll dresses, I find them very flattering on me, the shorter ones.

I plan to wear them with flats this summer.

"For a CASUAL look, try these Chanel ballet flats ($700), Stella McCartney jeans ($325), and a James Perse long-sleeve tee ($125)...see Where To Buy for details.."

Empire dresses are lovely...I loved the one Karolina Kurkova wore to Oscars...

High waisted.. in everything..skirts, shorts, jeans..

grey..as in not a dark grey, but the 'Prada grey' it's so beautiful..

thanks!!! yeahh i like the dress!!!

I especially like the fact she isn't wearing jewellery on her neck, like everybody else (attending the Oscars) would. It looks simple and fresh.

peep toe flats

not sure if they've become a big trend yet, but i've seen them in so many shoe stores around here lately.

^^Love peep-toe flats, specially done in patent leather, I would love some in nude patent ..

although i'm not always sure about the trendiness of those things.. here a list of looks i like atm:

# hoods.
# victorian highnecks, still.
# slightly puffy sleeves.
# scarves. always.
# those 'massive' buttons that have no button holes, expecially when they are clad in the same cloth that the garment is made of. or metallic ones, bronze.
# this kind of blouse:

with the straps hanging from the neck that are tied into a bow. i don't know what they are called.
# collars in general. i'm obsessed with them after i have been fed up with them because of that shirt underneath sweater-college-look i have been wearing in 10th grade.
# leather. not good. i have a guilty conscience everytime i drink milk, but oh those delicious bags, belts and shoes made from leather.. :ninja:
# simple white shirts. i hated them all my life, but now i had to wear one for work, i understand why it's such a staple in every wardrobe. :swoon:
# minimalism in general, but i'm afraid it only works with good (and therefor expensive) materials.
# slightly masculine looks.
# no prints.
# black&white, and all shades of grey.
# dark rich colours, like emerald, bottlegreen, petrol, royal blue, purple. not sure if i'll wear them.
# jeans. a novelty. now i have to find one or two i really like.
# breeches.
# skirts with pockets.
# cardigans.
# kneelength dresses with long sleeves.
# shirtdresses.
# vintagelooking shortsleeved knitsweaters.
# wrap tops or dresses, although i always thought i'd never wear something asymmetrical.

I like the best of the 60s that are coming back and the boys with hair like Keith Richards

blazers and nautical jackets
skinny jeans
the color black
layering (but not out of control layering)
babydoll dresses and anything Lolita-esque
