Shorts with heels- I am too short to feel comfortable wearing shorts with flats.
White lace
Ballet flats
Oversize handbags (I like bringing everything with me!)
Espadrilles althought they "come back" practically every spring

oh God no....not the return of fannypacks. :yuk: Fannypacks are absolutely hideous and the thought of many people wearing them makes me sick. My mom used to wear fannypacks to take me to Disneyland when I was younger. haha

Agree about espadrillos... I almost bought black leather ones at Coach (I think?) in SF, but I decided to be responsible and save my money... I could just kick myself!

voila...

a hahhaha.. ok, thanks for the credited pic mundo :flower:

well, in a twisted, ironic, quirky, 'time-chanelling' way..
those could actually get quite trendy hiddenagenda,
thanks to you, i'll keep my eyes open spotting those around

^ Actually, companies like Prada, Gucci and LV have made those for years because people want them for some unfathomable reason... At least there are more interesting shapes and solutions if you want to tie your stuff around your waist... Prada made and showed "fanny packs" that were more flat and square, like extra pockets, years ago.

I just don't understand it, it's mostly cumbersome: it looks too tight or slips around if you don't wear it tightly (because it will slap against your thighs and/or move when you walk!). Just wear a small messenger if you want to carry small stuff!

And if you wear a jacket over it, you'll look obese or pregnant.

i think its practical for traveling... you dont have to worry on leaving your purse or bag in a store or something!!!!! i used them when i was a little girl.. so did my mom but NOT ANYMORE!!!! lol:lol:

fannypacks.

Totally just took me back to tourist-filled Disneyland with moms and their fannypacks full of cash. Oh Looord. (Actually miss those days hah)

they were huge here with the "cool scene crowd" some months ago. they carried them like normal bags, over the shoulder. suddenly everyone had dug out a really ugly fanny pack. it was weird  but thankfully didn't last long. (this should actually be in the trends we hate-thread.)

what are fannypacks :s sorry

These are called 'bumbags' in Europe or 'banane' if you are Frenchophile...It's a sort of bag in the shape of a big fat banana that you fasten around your waist or hips. It's not really good looking per se but I must admit I hate carrying a bag and this kind of bags are really practical!

Trends I really like at the moment:

- Cropped jackets
- Eyelet fabrics, the 'innocent' look
- Jeans with a big button (the one that is up the zipper) and big buttons in general
- Berets, oh I love them it's a classic like the white tee. It's also the easiest one to wear if you're not too sure about wearing a hat. The most flattering are the ones like Faye Dunaway wears in 'Bonnie & Clyde'

Big bags, esp. hobos that can hold everything.
Wedges (so comfortable and essential for the les petites!)
Belts
Big sunglasses (I know, Nicole...but they are great! you never look tired when these are covering your ravaged face)
Loose fitting clothing: the "bobo" or bohemian thing. Flowy, light, cotton clothes are essential for the semi-tropical steam bath I live in.

Flowy, girly, victorian style clothing mixed with alittle bit of mens corporate style.
Big sunnies
Big bags
Pretty ballet flats
Sexy pumps

Loving the skinny jeans, I don't care what other people say I think they're totally cute. With heels, or with cowboy boots. I also love the leggins too cute!!!!!!!!! :)
