Something I usually love in Spring and Summer: platform wedge sandals. There was a girl at my school that wore these straw platform wedges with cute flower designs. A traditional high heel is always feminine and chic. However, wedges can be just as cute. I even imagine platform wedge mules, espadrilles, peep-toe pumps (with or without slingback), and that sort of thing. I even still love those American Eagle Dilemma sneakers (not traditional sneakers, but considered sneakers) and all sneakers similar in design.

A lady at my community college usually wears platform wedge sandals each day I see her. She's a beautiful lady from Tokyo who is very friendly and sweet. I first got to know her last year or so, wearing these natural-colored platform wedge sandals. She's short, but nothing adds height (and style) like a lovely pair of platform wedge sandals. The ones she wore today were straw platform wedge sandals that had some lovely red straps. Another lovely Asian lady that used to go to my school loved high-heel sandals so much that she even wore socks with the sandals to stay warm in colder weather, though she does have some sneakers.

Platform wedge sandals and shoes are definitely "in." It's a great way to look lovely without having to worry about breaking a heel.
