its worse now that they're making heel versions of them too.

I am so sick of seeing the cheaply made, round, rushed-toe flat. I see them everywhere! In black, mostly. Tacky! 2-3 years is enough.

Personally, I think black flats still have a long way to go, they just complement current aesthetics so perfectly, they can tone anything down and are so practical.. I've been wearing black flats for about 5 years now and don't really do it as a trend but more because it's the only shoe I've found that looks okay with simple or slightly unusual outfits and you can pretty much take them anywhere, they fit anyone's lifestyle.. I've tried other type of shoes but I always seem to get back to them.. I really consider them to be a wonder.

I personally detest (and will continue detesting, seeing as we're going into spring here), those teeny tiny ruffled handtowels masquerading as skirts. Hi, I don't like to choose which bum cheek I want to be covered, I'd like both please!

High heels shoes worn with skinny jeans. Unfortunatly, still a big hit among young girls. High heels boots (with skinny's) does look a lot better though.
