Trends You Are Sick Of #2

I agree about the crop top/leggings/grunge look. Why are they trying to bring back the nineties? The pieces don't need to be worn all together. Next thing you know hipsters will be using hair mascara.

Dude, in London everywhere I go I end up seeing the 'topshop' girls: obnoxious pearls wrapped around their head, floral top + polkadot skirt or denim shorts with tights/floral dress. Seriously. Give it a rest. I adore topshop, but please do it tastefully. Don't be a cliche.

totally agree with the leggings worn as pants! girls need to cover up that area! yuck..

I'm really not into the Chloé style. I'm sick of all the beiges, taupes and olives in high street stores.

I don't even live in London, and I can see that. I only hope that it won't " emigrate " in France when Topshop will open in Paris...

i'm sick of taylor momsen and her one repetitive look- skinny jeans+ top+ leather jacket and the dark make up she's constantly wearing.

Shapeless clothes on girls.

Too tight clothes on guys.

Oh and shoes that cut off just above the ankle.YOU LOOK BAD IN THEM lol unless your lilly donaldson or the likes, and even then your pushing it!

I'm really bored by the look most guys opt for when they follow fashion or work in the industry.. that nerdy/polished/clean cut/tight-clutch on one side style, which Rachel Zoe's assistant, whatever his name is, exemplifies so well.

I lieu of Converse, why not move up and start buying pumas? They're stylish and full of adult vibe****Crisis Averted! :woot:

pumas are not comfortable. they are cut narrower than converse and the sizing is weird. converse allow the foot to spread out and offer me NO pain whatsoever when walking. being older, i refuse to wear anything but anymore because i will not undergo foot pain for fashion. people are being really snobbish about these trends, what you need to realize is some of these so called trends are classics and will always be in style.

trends i'm personally sick of are:
dark nails(so fn stale, please quit already)
tons of jewelry(or any jewelry at all)especially ethnic style
trying too hard to be fashionable(think fashion blogs wearing those ugly square sunglasses, "vintage", t-shirts etc.)i guess you could call that internet fashion.
quite honestly right now im sick of all fashion in general. i like plain, generic, things that are comfortable and in this economy i think in itself that is fashionable.
boyfriend jeans

^I love dark nails actually. Purple, red, blue, green and so on. I only wear them during fall and winter, though. During spring and summer, I can understand not wearing dark nails.

Trends I'm done with:
Footless tights. They were nice for awhile but once people started wearing them with almost everything, it started getting tacky.
Skinnies tight enough that you could read a newspaper through them
Scene style I never liked but I'm just over seeing it
Too many chain necklaces. Two or three strands for a layered look is fine but people are putting too much on and looking like they robbed the jewelry section of Walmart.
The "Jersey Shore" look. They make other Italians and the rest of America look bad. Too much tanning and hair gel.

I agree. It just hurts my eyes...and clucth on men is just BIG NO NO.
also on guys I hate style like you can see in this blog.
I do not even know how I ended up seeing that blog...anyway, too much everything and such a try hard style is allways tacky.

thanks for saying that! i totally agree with you!

^Fur will never go away. Fake fur is just an example of how many people still like fur.

You will have to kill Chanel and other major designer houses.

i'm tired of the whole uggs tucked into sweatpants look.... maybe I only see this because I live in a university town and everyone is too stressed/lazy to wear real clothing. I just hate sweatpants, like I get it for those days where you're hungover or really really lazy, but if it's everyday it just projects to the world that you are sad and don't give a **** about yourself. Like I will admit I am THE laziest person on planet earth and so if I can throw on a pair of jeans and a decent pair of shoes in the morning, so can you!

Seeing people in Uggs makes me feel better about myself
