Why are people still wearing/carrying fanny packs?

I remember my mom giving me a fanny pack to take on my first trip abroad (to Europe of all places) when I was 14. I wore that damn thing like a shoulder bag, and sometimes crossbody, just so no one would know what it really was.

cool story aside, there is no excuse to actually be wearing fanny packs. None.

I love fannybags. Anyway, i am bored with wetlook leggings.

agree. I can't believe people are still wearing these... I don't know, I just feel like they never really look good.

Any tights in general really. I'm all for stockings, but tights are tricky (bar leather leggings of course ^_^ )

Longchamp's le Pliage Bag.
It's just worn way by way too many girls here in Austria..like a real uniform.

Blue?! Are you serious?! you do realise it's not a trend, but a primary color, right? How on earth can you hate every item of clothing that is blue?! Your list is incredibly exhaustive, i don't understand how people have such massive fashion gripes. Yeah, there are a couple of things which get on my nerves, usually things that look like they belong in a different season or that make the wearer look uncomfortable/unhygienic/immodest. But in general, people having fun with fashion and enjoying what they wear is usually a good look!

I mean, how can you say you hate 'flowers' when there are a billion different ways of wearing floral? And 'hippie hair' isn't really a trend but a hair type, when i let my hair air dry it's long, wavy, loose - 'hippie' if you will. How can a hair texture get on your nerves?

I get things like 'bunny ears' and 'tutus' but those aren't really trends, more like tacky accessories that people wear to bachelorette parties.

Fashion is fun and individual, what looks horrid on one person can look fabulous on the next, i just don't get all the hate floating around!

I know this was posted ages ago but I was thinking the EXACT same thing. You are my hero.

Fashion is supposed to be fun and expressive.... why would one want to limit themselves. Obviously there are just certain things that don't flatter the body or just look plain stupid but I don't get people complaining about the more general things. Also, it's a matter of taste and individual style - my friend and I have completely different styles, it doesn't mean that her style is wrong and mine is right. I think we have to strive to be a little less cranky and be more inclusive if possible.

Personally I'm over painful looking cleavage. This includes but not limited to the following celebs Selma Hayek, Megan Fox, Jessica Simpson, Rihanna...the list goes on. Looking like a busted can of biscuits is not cute!
