I never understood dresses under jeans anyways. I mean, isn't that why we have TUNICS instead of dresses (though tunics can technically be dresses)? But then again... some people will try any sort of look just 'cause.

 This made me laugh and mostly I agree with you. I have seen the odd pair of white pants that I liked, such as a breezy pair of drawstring linen pants with a bikini, or a baggy pair of white jeans. But overall, yeah.
lol I don't think I've ever seen anyone wearing stained white pants. They aren't a staple of my wardrobe, but I do own some.

Squizree: Nerd glasses. I find it extremely hard to take anyone seriously when they're wearing these.

hahaha this made me laugh so hard...I completely agree. I actually have to wear glasses to SEE! Grr....

Girls wearing shoes they can't walk in. It makes you look as sexy as a kid who's learning to walk.

headbands.

I mean, they were cool in the beginning but I'm sick of them already. And most of the girls don't even know how to wear it properly so the hair looks too puffy or they end up looking like Cousin Itt. Seriously.

Over seeing platform pumps. It's soo bad that Payless is knocking them off now.

Over Rayban sunglasses

Over Toms

Over style bloggers (it's getting to the point they all look cloned)

And I'm soo sooo soooo over the preppy look, dress shoes and no socks look that has taken over men's fashion in NY. Every stylish wanna be male is wearing this look. I'm rather annoyed with this look now

Huge headphones and fluo-colored 80s style pants...
I guess they can be both considered as part of the huge Hipsteria trend, the whole thing is getting pretty much annoying...

^ Oh yes! How could I forget!? I mean it's great to listen to music and I'm not discouraging it, but why such loud headphones (pun intended!)?
And on that note, has anyone noticed the useless attempt at trying to re-popularize the cassette player? SOOO stupid.

I am a nostalgic person myself  somehow I miss cassette players/walkmans as I remember carrying around some cassettes and the player and having to change sides from time to time, it's a childhood memory...
But it's dumb (at least, in my opinion) to see kids who were born in the iPod era talking like they were here when vinyls were sold etc...
Just like the old-style cameras, lomo's etc...

Oh I remember Walkmans  They were so trendy back in the 90s. Nostalgia is great. But trying to make them a trend again is something else.

I so agree with you.
I hate it when I see a guy practically in a suit in my college classes

Also, guys in their 20s dressing like 50 year old CEOs... seems to be a trend...

^ It's the whole 70s rebirth. It's everywhere. Im not against the 70s (its better than the 80s!), but somehow people have managed to redo ALL the gross trends and left out the good ones. Some guys even look old enough to be my grandfather. You have plenty of time to be old, why start now?

^Exactly my point, hahaha. It's like, thanks for trying to look good, but if you're gonna try to dress well... please learn how to wear the proper clothes for the right occasion.

But on the other hand, guys have a very limited style range when it comes to fashion so I try to be understanding...

^ please credits your pictures, aulait, otherwise they will have to be removed.

I'm sick of white lace mini dresses.. in white and any other color actually, it was a lovely trend but now it's just too much, everyone's doing it and most of them look so corny.. especially those that lack that delicate look. :ninja:

Ombre Hair. Only so many girls can do this to their hair!! Just because its a trend does not mean it will look good on you 0.o

Recently I can't stand the "hipster" style anymore... Not because it is ugly, it is often kinda cute and cool actually, but please stop to try to look oh-so-alternative when you're more mainstream than a guy dressed in H&M head to toe.

I also don't understand the "vintage style", I mean new stuff called vintage style (see Urban Outfitters): or it is vintage or is not, I totally don't get this in-between concept and all the hype around it

Ops, apparently I have a problem with alternative/intellectual-chic-wannabe cultures :-p (that are as alternative as the Zara blouse I'm wearing in this moment)

I think i know what you are talking about, and that "hipster look" kinda become some form of a uniform in my art school... it is getting crazy.
