Eh, yeah I know, that guy...nothing quite dazzling about him.(don't get me wrong, he's not a beast or anything- I get that he's attractive).

But like when Edward always has his crooked smile thats oh so alluring...I can't see this guy making me faint.

To me, casting the wrong Edward will be almost as bad as getting rejected from my top college. Almost.

Am I the only one completely upset over the fact that Kristen was cast as Bella? She, to me, is not any bit close to what I imagined Bella. To sum it up, I think Emily Browning would have been the perfect casting choice. Word is that she was within the top 3 but just a bit too pricey.

I'm upset too. I'm a big fan of Emily's and I think she would portray Bella very well. Oh well, I guess it was just not meant to be.

NO! I can't see that guy as Edward. He looks like a typical boyish-looking jock. Nothing special about him..

I have lost all hope of Gaspard as Edward though..

This is how I feel. It'll change the whole effect of the movie; Edward needs to be unique and...different. Urgh I can't explain it, he's anything from generic. Colton Haynes doesnt do it for me, not as Edward.

I wasn't keen on Tom S but now I am growing more to the idea of him as Edward. Rather him than Colton, any day.

Okay, Colton Haynes is 'hot'. My problem with him is that he's 'hot'. And that's it. He's too ordinarily-good looking. He reminds me of the popular boy in high school with the buxom beach blondes hanging over him. The guy you see on teen fashion ads.

Edward is suppose to be quiet and out of this world. Colton is too human. With Gaspard Ulliel, you have that magnetism and breath-leaves-your-lungs feeling. Impossibly beautiful. Tom Sturridge isn't as magnetic as Gaspard, but he is very beautiful and boyish-looking with that quiet aura. His eyes twinkle when he grins. Both Gaspard and Tom bring the ethereal, mysterious quality with them and the sense that you can't find this guy anywhere else.

BTW, Kristen as Bella is beginning to grow on me. She just needs to fix the mouth.

I think they need to cast a new actor because I can't think of anyone that suits Edward perfectly. The whole movie will be spoiled if they choose the wrong person.

Kristen Stewart -- The idea of her playing Bella has grown on me. I think she is very good and would be capable to play the part.

I don't see Tom as Edward...he's not gorgeous, or beautiful to me. I do find him attractive though, I just don't think he's perfect enough (features etc) to be Edward.
