I'm sure she has to give the go ahead. I mean, the movie's producers have to be on her good side- it is her book that they're making their $$$ off of.

and about the whole models thing, I'm just saying that she shouldn't rule them out just because they're models... or any non-actors in general. Sometimes the newcomers are the best. but yes, if they can't act, they can't act.

According to many source, she has quite a say in the movie...
She's not in charge of casting, per se, but I am quite sure that she gets to say what she wants.

To me, I can't think of anyone that could play Bella. I think it needs to someone completely new picked for the part. I have a sinking feeling theyll cast someone like Willa Holland or some other annoying girl, that would kill the whole movie. And Edward...no one will be good enough, because the person they pick, most likely will be simply average. I don't know why but I think River Phoenix would've be perfect (yes, yes I know ) but I could just picture it in my head.

I am SO worried about who they cast for Edward that I have nightmares of it.

They HAVE to cast either Gaspard or Tom Sturridge.

he just doesnt seem Edwardy enough for my liking..

I could never picture Tom Sturridge, for example.

Tom Sturridge is the ONLY one for Edward. He's drop dead gorgeous and he's got that "I'm better than you" look in his eye that's good for being a vampire. For Bella, I don't like Ellen Page or Emily Browning. There are both too cherry pie. And I too doubt the writer has any say in the casting process. Authors have absolutely zero power unless you're JK Rowlings.

im like 85-90% on Tom Sturridge as Edward.
i dont 100% see him as Edward..
but he would deffinatly be in my top 5 of Edward Cullens..

I love Kristen Stewart, so was excited when I first heard about this... although I love Emily too.

I quite like the casting. Kristen is amazing; I loved her in Speak and In The Land of Women.




... Oh if we're already reacting... wait until Edward gets casted!
