Well Mukluks and Uggs seem to be quite trendy this winter here (we're slow, I know!) but I'd rather spend my money on classic leather boots than these ugly things, they might be comfortable but style is more important to me.

I tried a pair of Uggs on today, and wasn't all that impressed with them. I understand that they feel soft, but I also felt like there was nothing between my feet and the ground! and I felt kinda slobby walking around in them. So along with being 'out', I don't see what the big deal was in the first place!

Of course the sales girl was trying to convince me 'Oh these boots are huge right now, everyone wants them!'

I hate to admit, but during the winter when my feet have blisters, I wear my Uggs. They really are the most comfortable winter shoes. I never tuck them into my jeans though.

Agreed... I'm sick of them, anyways. You shouldn't have to sacrifice so much style for comfort, in my opinion. Why not go for a knee high flat suede boot instead?

because some of our members have mentioned the want for uggs in the cold winter climate I am somewhat reviving this thread.....I just don't know where to find them in London other than selfridges (which don't carry the style/color combo I want. They only carry hideous uggs). Am looking for the classic short in navy or black. How can i find stockists?
