I still really dislike both covers, infact I'd go as far as to say they could possibly be my least favourite Harper's has done.

Yasmin looks beautiful, I wish we'd had a beautiful cover featuring her.

Blue Planet is a lovely editorial and the title couldn't be more appropriate. As for Cindy's ed it is actually much better than what I had expected from seeing the cover. Thanks for the scans, fearless123.

Damn. I'm going to have to eat my suspicions about the quality of this issue now.

I'm still going to flag for the minority opinion here and dislike Cindy's cover and ed all around, but who cares when the other inside eds are this fantastic??

"Blue Planet" with Anastasia K. is one of the most exquisite and original eds I've seen in years, conceptually and otherwise. It's Amazing with an A. I particularly appreciate the irony of the Mars-esque "red planet" environment against the title of the ed, and that they've stayed true to the concept of the ed by just featuring full-body shots instead of a close-up or two thrown in; it feels somehow more "genuine". To me, this is seriously and sincerely one of the best fashion eds I've seen in I dare say my life, and a prime example of what fashion photography can be at its finest. I have officially found a new love in Mark Pillai.

I also like "7 Deadly Shades" a lot; the styling and colors are great, and a really fun way to bring out the accessories. "Oh You Pretty Things" doesn't really speak to me, probably because I feel like I've seen it many times before, but it's a nice ed regardless, and I do love the first photo.
