Harper's Bazaar's lucky subscribers get a first look at the March issue today, with a special subscribers' cover shot by photographer of haute couture Cathleen Naundorf.

Her exquisite images pair gowns from the V&A's collection of designer pieces with contemporary work by the same couture houses, in the first fashion shoot ever photographed at the museum.

That's really beautiful I love how different and elegant it is. The feature on the museum collection sounds interesting, too. I would love to see something like that on the newsstand cover instead of some bland celebrity shot. This certainly catches your attention and it's so much more fashion than what they usually do. I thought HB UK had a good run with covers in 2011 but then it all went downhill, although the fashion editorial content is usually quite strong.

Must admit that I had a bit of an issue over how dated the magazine was starting to look. But, after the February issue, I'm reluctant to find massive negativity towards the new structure. This cover does justice for the magazine. I cannot moan over something classical and beautiful.

My goodness this is so refreshing, a stunning cover image, without a known or famous model/ personality, so all you are left is not someones baggage, but a beautiful image to reflect to.

But i guess the newsstands cover will have a celeb on it, and its a nice compromise.

Breathtaking, gorgeous, dramatic, classy, vintage... I can't describe what I feel when I look at that cover in one word. It's so modern at the same time though, this will be remembered for a long time! Hope newsstand is equally good
