Took only 16 f****** years, but Edward always setting history right! And it sure was worth the wait, what an epic cover! Even more so when you think this is for UK Vogue, kudos to Edward for the balls to go with such an uncoventional cover, it certainly doesn't seem commercial lke his usual offerings. For that alone i adore this. Must have issue, for me.
Here she finally is! We all know it was going to happen, we just didn't know when. Glorious cover ofcourse and welcome home, Naomi. It took them many many years, but she is finally back on the cover where she belongs.
Naomi + Meisel + Pat McGrath = a very nice day in this industry, unfortunately Im not feeling this 100%, its not giving me spring effortless fashion in any way. Its a iconic situation, indeed, and the cover is collectible and beautiful, but its not in the goddess level that the situation demanded. Sorry.
The cover looks gorgeous (probably the best of March covers in Condé Nast this year) but the editorial isn't giving me the same hype, I'll wait for its rest. Happy for Edward, this will be a not-easy-to-forget cover.
It’s different, I like it. The only way for me to like Naomi on print is to make her leave her « fierce b**** » persona. She did for VP too. Naomi has been on a roll since the Versace anniversary show! Get it girl!
What a cover! Absolutely in love. I'm so happy for Naomi to be back on the cover British Vogue and for the fact that it was shot by Meisel.
I really want to like it... I appreciate experimental take and I think all 3 images are beautiful... but the whole multifaceted mambo jambo is just hurting my eyes... maybe in print it looks better...that image in Valentino dress is just beyond ❤️
Finally! But honestly I'm whelmed, perhaps? At least it isn't commercial as Miss D said and feels quite Vogue Italia-ish. The editorial still looks a mess though...damn Edward's styling/conceptualization can be really bad sometimes! For me Adwoa's cover is still easily the best offering Edward's had.
Finally Naomi got the cover, it's gorgerous and flawless. I like the colors of the ligthing & wait to see the whole cover story, the previews are amazing.
It's such an arresting cover and definitely a win for Edward. However, the experimental nature of it seems rather jarring when one looks at what UK Vogue under him has offered since its inception. Identity-wise, Edward still has a lot of work to do because I see no cohesion to his covers so far.
This would be one of their best covers from Edward if they only featured one photo (the one in the center) on it. Nonetheless, it looks promising since we're talking about NAOMI here! I also heard that this is her Vogue UK cover since 2001.
For the amount of photographic tom foolery and flashy colors gimmicks employed on this cover, it doesn’t amount to anything. The fashion is dull from what I can make out, Naomi doing her usual diva thing from 3 different angles which could’ve made for a really dynamic cover image design wise but it’s like they stopped mid thought. They needed to take it to the next level. All I see is a watered down Steven Klein outtake for Fabian Baron era Interview, which never did much for me. So what?
