UK Vogue March 2024 by Steven Meisel

Apparently this issue only has 270 pages.. I thought with his last issue, Edward can entice more advertisers in his magazine...

I saw some photos of the spine. It doesn't really look like a thick issue, so you're probably right.

This month's cover editorial is titled We are Family.

How I wish the issue only include models. Anyway, the cover looks weird. And Selma Blair? Her comment is nasty. But even that, is she even considered legendary?

Besides all of this (which is a lot), my biggest hope is this a new start for Meisel and Kate/Cindy. I would love to see him doing campaigns with both from now. One of the shocking facts I learned about a fashion years ago was that Kate only had a solo VI cover, as well Cindy, and then nothing else (pre 2016). Then I searched all the covers under Anna, and the collaborations are more, but stopped in the 90s. The other girl that never work with Steven again was Claudia, but she quite left the fashion industry as a full time model.

Cover is ok. I'm glad it wasn't Edward on it. I just despised the photoshopping and post-production making it seem like all of the celebrities were not all there at the same time when they were together actually. There must be a shot where there is some interaction between them. Editorial is boring. Such a lazy theme. It has been done before much better. Vittoria is a standout on the cover. what a stare!

Looking at the new listings on eBay, I was hoping for sight of more editorials inside than just the cover story.

Was the promised fashion extravaganza this cover shot?

If so, it's probably more of an extravaganza for a reader who doesn't have any strong memories of the other group shots of models/celebrities ever created for various editions of Vogue or Vanity Fair's yearly Hollywood covers.

I imagine I'll enjoy it more once I see it as a glossy print cover.

The Cover is boring I will give you that!! They could’ve done more with the cover stars they had.

I will say contrary to the majority sentiments on here!! Over all Edward refreshed an otherwise stale & boring British Vogue, we can’t discount him bringing a new lease of life to the magazine!! He got people talking about & getting excited, which I believe he did successfully. Was every cover or story great? No! But you can’t deny his legacy, he is one of the greats and brings his own take that is needed in the industry!!

The review doesn't sound too exciting.. any interesting articles / features inside @vogue28 ?

There's a feature on Keir Starmer, Juergen Teller's creative partner Dolvile Drizyte, with photographs from Teller accompanying the piece (totaling 6 pages) and a feature on the Mayfair home of Enninful's friend Natasha Poonawalla.

Sounds fairly boring to me, except for Liya and Doutzen who I'm very excited to see. However, with Bibi Borthwick's name attached to it my expectations are low.

@vogue28 do Meisel's Dolce & Gabbana ads appear in this issue as well? Or will I have to bite the bullet and buy the February issue as well...

Kinda bummed that it doesn't include a collage of Vogue covers from December 2017-March 2024 that's similar to Alex's final issue. A missed opportunity.

Finally Doutzen got tired of life as a gardener and went back to work, I can't wait to see the editorial and also together with another model that I love!

so IRONIC to see someone adovocating for DIVERSITY pays LITTLE attention to ASIAN MODELS.
Poor Asians, you will never ever deserve the right recogniziation from the indusry, coz the whole sh*t industry does not care you, and the only diversity this industry could think of is only black.

Hope Anna's next puppet would be an Asian.

thank you, next
For most people in America, "diversity" only = black. I guess it's the same in the UK? It's especially bizarre, as Asians probably have more buying power and spend more money on fashion than any other minority group. I support diversity, but it is disheartening to see huge swaths of people left out, when the publications that are shoving "diversity" down our throats do not actually support it in a genuine way, or in a way that reflects reality.

Doutzen got cancelled for her comments about vaccines, If I'm not wrong. It wasn't a vacation. But I'm expecting some of you with the right info. I'm not 100% sure about it.

Oui, there’s two pages of Meisel’s Dolce & Gabbana for S/S 2024 featured!

Some super quick snapshots of the fashion stories to kill everyone’s curiosity:
