I adore Terry Richardson photography but it doesn't make for a good cover for such a magazine!

I love Leighton and I'm very excited to see her on the cover, but her editorial sounds so boring. Things like that have been done so many times before. I just want to see an amazing editorial with her in it.
Can't wait to see the subscriber's cover though.

Leighton Meester always dresses interestingly, takes risks and wear unknown designers. She's very talented, works hard and comes from a unique background. Even if she stars in a teen show, I don't think she upholds that image outside of the show at all so it's very easy to separate her from it and look at her as an legitimate and fashionable talent. I think she has something different to offer, pleasing to both the "tweens" and conventional readers.

And now I feel like they should hire me to be her publicist.

I think the background color, the pose, and the text ruined it for me. I mean, look at Lindsay's December cover, it was shot by Terry but the results were magic.

Although I'm not a fan of the newsstand cover shot, I'm delighted to see Leighton on the cover.

love Leighton, but that cover really does look cheap and boring.

blah. Hopefully the subscriber's cover and the editorials are better. Leighton usually does great editorials - but again...that aging concept...not holding up much hope there.

can anyone give a review of the fashion editorials?

Okay...am I the only one who is confused as to why every issue is 'fabulous at every age'?
I thought it was the theme of one issue...not all of them?
Has it become their tagline now or something? Like Lula magazine has 'Girl of My Dreams' printed on the spine of every issue.

I'm also a little disappointed by the cover. I love both model and photog but this does look like a paparazzi shot. Hopefully the subscriber's shot will be gorg.
