seriously, that is the news stand cover?!?!?!?! for god sakes, they have Leighton but why is the photography and concept like that? i mean, yeah US HB always does studio shoots for the cover but why is the photography like that? and the photo that they chose for the cover, it looks like it was taken from an event that Leighton attended (like Angelina's cover last month). sigh...this is disappointing. i expected that this would be great 'cause of Leighton.

hhmmm, i regret what i said about Susan Boyle. her ed. is quite nice.

but looking forward to the content!

You know I think Susan Boyle's ed looks like it was really tastefully done, so credit to them for it.

Is that all they did with Leighton? Gosh I was looking forward to a full blown ed. Fail Harper's, fail!

The styling is soooo boring, why all the boring black? It looks almost like they couldn't get any decent samples sent out to them.

They even gave Susan Boyle a little more variety than they've given Leighton....

The first Leighton shot is nice, but it looks like it belongs in Nylon or something, and not in Harper's Bazaar IMO.

I actually find the Susan Boyle ed classy and endearing.

As for Leighton's editorial... I think it's supposed to be her at different ages--explains the outfits. I agree it's lacking, but yay for another amazing interview from her!

I'm not interested in Leighton and never watch her show, so I thought I'd dislike the cover - but I don't. It wouldn't put me off buying the magazine, I don't mind a bit of bland glamour.

Leighton! Thank god it's not Susan Boyle. What an awful rumor that was.

Glenda must have a lot of faith in Leighton though to put her on the cover for September. I wouldn't imagine Leighton being capable of selling an outstanding number of issues.

The text on the cover is extremely suffocating as well. As though its inching in to get closer and closer to Leighton's throat.

Also the photo is kind of awkward because Leighton is sticking her arm out to hold it on her hip. But since we can't see that arm her left should looks odd.
