US Vogue December 2008 : Jennifer Aniston by Craig McDean

^^Basically you are saying you want the dirt, i am glad they didnt go that faar. :p

^ Why should we expect her to tell a total stranger.....
who will then in turn be writing an article for other total strangers to read.....
what she is really feeling?....

Maybe she isn't even harboring vengeful murderous feelings for Angelina at all.
Maybe it is just us who hopes that she is.
I guess that really says more about us then. Like you said before, girl sh*t is the best sh*t.
And we are eating it with a spoon at the moment.

omg ... you americans are all about dramas .......
leave the emotional home sometimes ..........
though imo Jen really needs to visit a head shrinker .....

There it is. The US Vogue Banner :ninja: I hate them, on every cover.

On the other hand, I think Jennifer looks great on the cover. I actually hope she makes a comeback.. :innocent:

Pretty much...:innocent: I mean if she went on the record for the first time about it, then really go on the record and end it once and for all. It's true that you just have to read between the lines in that interview, I mean she told him to turn the tape recorder off, you know she spent like 10 minutes cursing about Angelina.

Bahiyya that is very well explained, all points well made, but especially your statement that Hollywood is petty.I dont belive in dissing one person in order to praise another, comparing ones statuse's to belittle others achivements.etc like it has been done in this thread, because like you and Harumi said, eventually they are all pretty much the same, they want publicity in order to sell their movies, products.etc

To me the most shocking thing about this is the fact that Vogue has put that tagline on the cover because its misleading (leads one to belive she actually tallked about the divorce and why it came to be)instead she commented on Jolies statement and refered to her as "she", its a very vulgar thing to do, surely we can agree about that?

I'm glad you think so since I read it over and realised I used way too many parentheses ;):flower:. I agree that Vogue's descent into Star Weekly antics is transparently low and if I were Jen I'd have my people call Wintour's people. Even though she referred to Jolie I'm sure she did it with the understanding that Vogue was a safe venue where what she said would be presented in the right if not outright flattering context. On the contrary it looks as if Vogue used her badly -- from cover design, to cover picture choice, to tagline -- to bump up sales and get press.

:woot:

I think Angelina could respond with any of the following:

"Jennifer wouldn't know cool if it hit her upside the head."

"Um...didn't that happen like 3 years ago..."

"Sorry. Can't talk now. Busy raising SIX KIDS."

"Aniston? I'm sorry that name isn't ringing a bell... Is she on Gossip Girl?"

"Why you mad though?"

"If you like it then you shoulda put a ring on it...oh wait. Oops."

"MoveOn.org"

A good old fashioned STFD could work too though.

:lol::rofl::rofl::rofl:

i just think this whole discussion
about this was pointless we cant
change what happened to Jen and how
she feels..we cant change her personality..
admit the pictures are gorgeous n move on..if
u dont like it..dont buy it..if ur subscribed its the
last issue of the year u dont have to renew the issue
i bet half of u would probably feel the same way Jen does
if a extremely gorgeous woman stole ur husband and adopted 3 kids
n had 3..i just wanna know what eds re in here

I think Jenn is over this whole Brad thing, but the public is not. Its the interviewer's fault for asking such irrevelant questions, she`s just being a nice person to answer those stupid questions over and over again.

The cover is very California-beachy. Quite boring.

......the above isn't the only comment about Angelina taking Brad away.....

this drives me mad~~~~
I kinda think Brad had a least something to do with this^_^

Aye, there's no point in us feeling personally involved with the lives of Ms Aniston or Jolie, because both of them would order their bodyguards to trample us into the ground if we dared to be an inconvenience by simply breathing the same air as them in a small room. Let them cry into their multi-million bank statements - the rest of us have to make do with tissues.

I stand by my opinion that Jennifer Aniston has done nothing to kill the media's obsession with her and Brad and feeds it by consistently making public statements or overt public outings about her intimate relationships when it's obvious to anyone that for some time they will be evaluated in the shadow of BradJelina.

The thing is Jenn has given 1 or 2 at most interviews about her breakup with Brad and his subsequent relationship with Angie. I think Brad have spoken about the whole thing once and Angelina multiple times. Jenn has always been gracious and classy about it when she has discussed it on interviews... though we cannot say the same thing about Angie.

It still amazes me that women are harshest on Jenn. Even though we are young or younger I am sure we have had a friend, mother, sister, aunt who has lost a significant other to someone else. She was with Brad for 6-7 years... it is understandable that she needs time to get over it even in the most normal of situation which hers has not been at all. Yet, she has moved on with her life gracefully IMO...

Sure her marriage with Brad was probably on shaky grounds before Angie... I mean he was going around the country telling every reporter he wants kids... while Jenn seemed more interested in building her movie career... but Angie came in like a force of nature... poor Jenn she had no chance much like Laura Dern...

Anyways, it will be interesting to see what becomes of them in the media... I do hope Jenn the best though... she deserves it after all the crap she has been thru:p

That said, I come to tfs to hear people's opinions, because they add to the thoughts I have about the magazines I buy. Well-argued criticism can be a good thing, even if I don't agree with what's being said, because it makes me see things in a different way.

...and Angelina.

Even Jennifer has harsher words for Angelina(if you want to call "uncool" harsh:lol:) while Brad walks away unscathed. The guy that left her for another woman she wishes well and thinks what he's done is "amazing", but Angelina...

I wonder what she had to say about Angelina off record...

I agree as well....I mean obviously there could be a 100 pg thread and all nagging...and whats going to happen....nothing. Ms. Wintour could care less, and from the looks of things its only going to get worse....Gossip Girl in Vogue???. I mean its fine if this only happened once in a while...but this happens every Month. And all the opinions are always the same. I too hate the route US Vogue is going...but Ive learned that there are very few chances of it changing...so I just live with it from month to month.( I have a subscription):flower: It would be 100 x less frustrating, if they posted the cover, review and scans( Instead of having 11 million posts about how much they hate a beach shot in December, and how much they think JA looks like a man ( Or is that just me?) lol).....and move on with our lives.

^ i agree too. it gets kind of annoying to go thru every page and only see 'why is jennifer aniston on the cover?!' we saw it, we got that. no need to remind us of vogue US' bad choice. it'll be nice if everyone has constructive criticism instead of 'bad cover!'. explain why and maybe people will understand. and if you dont agree, just say why.

Ladies & gents! Stop this non-sense, we gotta stick together! I do agree that the complaints are so beyond repetitive & unnecessary, but it is a community where people express their opinions so we can't exactly stop them. :flower: So let's just let all that go and be mature alright? :)

REMINDER: Alright. Enough is enough.

I should not have to remind anyone that we are to be respectful to other members here, nor should I have to remind anyone that complaining about complaining is an exercise in futility. Either we keep things on topic and respectful to other members or we close up shop and talk about Vogue US come January 2009.

No point in closing shop. I'm preparing for Januarys complaints.
Any news on what's inside?
