I'm not sure "the loyal audience" makes a difference nowadays, i feel less and less people are loyal to a magazine, the habits of the consumers have deeply changed in the last decade. Vogue US obviously want to get its readership younger, and it makes sense : correct me if i'm wrong, but i think Teen Vogue sell more than the grown-up version. Young people tend to be more enthusiastic about their idol, and buy more. On the other side, they can get tired very quickly, so i think to sell a magazine nowadays is a battle that has to be lead month after month, nothing is for granted anymore.
