V #51 January/February 2008 : Demi Moore by Mario Testino

So many pages for Stam... I hope they don't continue to adopt this trend.
First Raquel now this..

Are we really sure that Stam got the 40 pages editorial? *hopes*

I don't think we're sure, it's just that Wayne said a campaign queen was getting a 40 editorial in a fashion bible. Only V to give such a huge editorial and Jessica is for sure a campaign queen. I think that's it :woot:

It won't bother me, Stam hasn't done many editorials lately. I'd like to know how she's doing :D

i don't care about Stam...
that means an amazing portfolio for Klein and Panos!!!!!!!!!!
40p.

fashion magazines are more and more becoming like art magazine-portfolio... well talking about the High Fashion Magazines...
but with Panos and Klein, I won't complain at all!!!

01.10.08 V51 PREVIEW: MARIO SORRENTI AND SUVI KOPONEN
The work of Spanish painter Francisco Goya is the starting point for a high-drama shoot

The 19th-century painter Francisco Goya never shied away from depicting the brutal beauty of life (a significant portion of his late work was themed around the idea of disasters, for example). In V51, Mario Sorrenti and Jane How have found inspiration in the Spanish artist's ouevre for a series of images that explore the dark side of Spring fashion. Sorrenti captures models Suvi Koponen, Toni Garrn, Masha Tyelna, and Irina Kulikova in photographs that plunder the darkness and recreate many of Goya's infamous tableaus to stunning effect.

the shot of Suvi is just FLAWLESS
i can't wait to see the cover. i'm expecting something really amazing
from the previews we've had of what's inside! :buzz:

Now that sounds exciting...I can't wait to see that.

Exciting casting for sure, but the combination of Sorrenti and darkness occurs too often in V these days  Part of its aesthetic, though, I guess...

The second ed sounds really interesting!
I hope it will be out asap!
