Valentino F/W 12.13 : Caroline, Frida & Monika by Deborah Turbeville

lol at all the negative comments. I say the designers have an amazing thing for them happening at Valentino, and it shows in the ad campaign too. I think this will turn into another beautiful campaign regardless if the concept is similar to past seasons.

LOVE this casting! I was afraid when I herard those other names.
OMG! Caroline, Jac and Frida. This is awesome!

Very similar to last season but this time the background does nothing for me :(

Caroline is def very Valentino to me. Then Frida. Then Jac. It's funny I feel like they just found some BFFs to shoot together : ) Yes definitely could have some more life. We'll see the next photos. I loved last season!!

It is STUNNING. So beautiful. I like that they keep the same aesthetic in their campaigns. If the day ever comes that I can wear a Valentino gown.....

The backdrop, the collection, and Turbeville's work are all classically stunning. No one can deny that. However, I'm scratching my head at the casting. Don't get me wrong, I don't for one second doubt the Valentinobility of the girls. But I have to ask, why would anyone cast such a dynamic trio, only to have them stand like lifeless dummies?

Perhaps only those who are familiar with the Frigaciak/[insert trio name, do they have one?] grouping would find fault with the casting. Individually, they all scream Valentino. Together, the blandness just bothers me. And this is coming from someone who loved the quaint stiffness of last season's Valentino campaign.

They're standing around like princesses that aren't allowed to leave the castle, killing time until someone does that to their father and takes over the realm, at which point there'll be no more pretty dresses for his daughters...

soooooooo gorgeous i guess i am in the minority of loving it :D even though i did not like this collection, this is pretty

Nice to see them taking the campaign on a darker route, but really need to see more before I can make a proper decision on this.

I really really like this

I wanna see more, the cast and the colors and photography looks splendid
so well I kind of  it.

I'm so tired of those two...the brand is now stuck into this endless "fancy Celine" mode!
Also super tired of those studded accessories...they were HOT 2 years ago! It's time to move on and find new inspirations

the magic isn't here unlike last season. personally, i think the problem is in the casting. i thought zuzanna, bette, fei fei, and maud were a wonderful surprise last season and had a great dynamic last season. it's beautiful and i do like jac, and caroline and frida sometimes, but these girls are predictable and interchangeable when they are in a group shot. deborah is a gifted photographer and i'm glad to see her still working in fashion.

it's nice.. the models look great and the close up shots are quite beautiful,
some pictures look weird though as if the girls were made of cardboard or were photoshopped in the setting
overall i don't like it as much as last season's, that one had a rawer and dreamier feel to it..

Yes, I love it! I love the severity of it, very classic and it fits the collection (all Valentino's recent collections btw). Caroline outshines everyone though

oh gorgeous :D it actually makes me appreciate the collection more now. the best shots are definitely the ones with all 3 girls
