Valentino S/S 2010 : Dree Hemingway by Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott

^ exactly my thought! It's kinda great, even though I'm not feeling the pose, but I do prefer it rather than seeing her face...!

^ That's the best shot in the campaign so far...

Karl Templer styled the campaign  :flower:

Dark and mysterious, I like it. The pink hair fits the concept, but without it, it would not of worked.
The shots keep getting better and better. I'm never usually a fan of Dree, but she looks fantastic here.

I don't know...the show was everything but dark and mysterious,so I don't know why they decided to show the clothes in this way

Finally some new shots... but for me, there's something a bit teenage about them, as if this is the grunge version of Valentino (or as close to it as the brand will ever come) and while I don't mind the shots, they aren't especially appealing to me, as a Valentino lover. Instead of a sense of power and drama, I see pink hair and a lack of light. And then I turn the page to the Dior campaign.

The mood is interesting but I don't like her hair.

Why the pink hair? Is this the new "strawberry blonde" shade? I detest the ad itself. That pose looks awkward on her and.. well, the pink hair's just distracting.

love the new picture, it's nice to see some color after that dreary first shot.

On the whole they are just too dark...the 3rd shot is that most effective, but Dree brings nothing to this.......although I'm not really sure that's her fault entirely on this occasion, but she certainly lacks presence in general.
Thanks for the full set ASF:flower:

Just saw this in print and it was horrible. It looks too dark, and the clothes or whatever Valentino product(s) it sell(s) are barely visible. Dree looks, uhm, no comment.

LOL, did they really just cast Cole Mohr for a Valentino ad??

Sorry, tatted up & edgy isn't the first thing I think of when it comes to the Valentino man.

I love this campaign! For me its the best campaign of the season and the only campaign that seems to have some kind of artistry and thought put into it.

This season Mert&Marcus have really shot the two best campaigns; Valentino and Miu Miu. The rest don't even compare with their redundant mediocrity.
