Versace F/W 07.08 : Kate Moss and Catherine McNeil by Mario Testino

these remind me of the Fall 2004 campaign a bit

[hfgl]

but much much more boring and dull (obviously), but to think, only a bit of model variation and more interesting poses with a more metallic background could have really turned this ad around

I wonder what mcneils will be like too tga...

Yes, I liked those ads from that season. Because there's a variety of faces, there's an energy between them that's lacking in an only-girl campaign. Kate's Versace campaign is monotonous in contrast.

why doesn't Donatella create her own brand? like "Donna V" or "Super Donna", she shoud let Gianni rest in peace and we need to remember that brand in a good way.

gosh that wig looks terrible don't get it, is Versace trying to make models look like her?

I've seen Elle Collections and the picture above is alot better than the one on the first page of this thread, but that is not saying much, it's still fairly poor.
And JR1 you are so right in saying it could have been more like the Fall 2004 campaign with some slight tweaking........and would have been so much better for it. Still disappointed.

Kate is a terrible, terrible model in these advertisements. I know this has been said several times, but she's just awful. The least she could do is show a bit of emotion! I know I wouldn't be convinced to purchase any articles of clothing from this collection if I all I saw of it were these advertisements.

maybe it's not her fault, as far as I know it's the photographer who directs the model, how to pose, how to smile ... etc and sometimes the photographer just follows what Designer wants so probably it's Donatella who had the idea of those horrible ads

I thought Sasha P. looked like a robot, but now, I changed my mind

I like this red one - she looks sad...which should be appropriate...It's quite lovely  And the added bonus - to be in the minority

I really like kate in the red ads, it reminds me of the first Versace ads i loved in 95 with the supermodels all in red matching dresses, its classic Versace

To me its one of those ads that I dont love, but no matter how many times I c it I dont hate it.

I think everyone is too harsh on these ads.
They don't have the most interesting concept ever but they show off the clothes nicely and noone will ever convince me that Kate doesn't look great in these!!
