^ I love that campaign Meisel shot for Versace with the garters, turquoise tassel shoes and black stockings. I do not know which season that was, but it is one of my all time fave fashion campaigns ever. Very sexy I think of it to be.

Can you really blame people? And I don't think it's just Meisel fanatics who are complaining. It's just people who feel the work he did for Versace was better. It speaks for itself.

I don't think you need to be a Meisel fan to see that his ads were considerably more interesting and unpredictable than Testino's have been.

that's very relative, nobody knows the truth, everyone has a point of view and you can't say people say this or that.

to me the work of Meisel for Versace is very irrelevant and forgettable, it will never be classic like those fabulous Avedon campaigns, but it's only my opinion, no more.
