I mean, it's not as bad at the Haute Couture collection she had the audacity to show, but most of the looks looked like they'd look best on the streets of Las Vegas. The weird use of yellow; the patent leather, zipper-infested coordinating halter-suits; the weird harness accessories; the forced s&m feeling; the pimp coats...thanks, though I'll definitely pass. I guess I just don't get it.
The show felt very rushed and also the clothes felt the same. The taste level was low and cheap.
How high can the slits go??? Up to the neckline?
But I loved the Isabel Marant inspired boots and I want those black patent trousers!!!
Just wow. I was unsure how she could have made Versace any tackier, but she whipped out the PVC and taa daa - the worst collection I can ever remember by Versace. Makes Jeremy Scott look like haute couture.
I loved it I thought the dresses with the high slits were extremely sexy, the red leather outfit was hot, and I enjoyed all the tacky PVC stuff Hated the animal prints and coats and wasn't impressed by the shoes and the jewelry. But overall I thought it was great!
Sorry but this looked like The Blonds on a higher budget. The latex/pvc fabric, the furs, those tacky punk spikes, the overwhelming slits (poor Karmen)... Only a couple of coats and jackets and the gown on Andreea were ok, the rest was vile. Wost Versace collection in a long time.
This is really really bad. It has such an amateur approach to design and it looks uncomfortably uncomfortable. Some things you would be willing to be uncomfortable for, but this does not seem to be one of them. It is a shame I hate this as I was looking forward to this show a lot.
I don't know if I should be worried for Versus now.
