This is Muiccia on auto-pilot to me.
She can attempt all she wants to convince us this is some high-concept collection, but it's all so ragtag and common to me, stylistically. But I'm sure the masses will love it because it's so easy to wear, and pleasantly colorful.
The coats and leather jackets are obviously the selling points here, and they look typically rich and nicely grungy-- but as many have pointed out, she's done it before, and recently too. It's all pretty much standard fare for her. And the parade of pubescent boys dressed in their Dad's chesterfiled mixed with pop-art leathers do look like One Direction and the those types, which is a huge turn-off for me. I much prefer Prada A/W 2012/13 with adult men.
It's Muiccia, it's Prada, and I think she's great, usually. But, this time, it'a also so forgettable.
