Versace Mens S/S 08 Milan

I love it. I see plokhov's work in some of the shapes, and colors...very nice

haha plokhov's influence is kind of funny. i was always a bit in limbo about cloak but its obviously a big plus for versace.

Lots of very approachable, subtly cool looks.
I like it. It's a very refreshing change-of-pace collection from Versace.

This is very Plokhov meets Versace indeed.

Hopefully, this time, the only Medusa so far in the runway is Donatella.

Simply superb....The collars are amazing, love the one with the straps. Great fabrics. It's so grown-up and elegant... I am happy to see that Donatella finally achieved to seperate all Versus elements from her main Versace line. And the very last look is amazing...what a coat

finally something totally wearable!

And sorry to say this, but Donatella is looking worse and worse with every her collection!

It's men's Fashion Week in Milan, and we're hearing there was something of an exodus at Versace, when several key buyers actually left the presentation in the middle. Outside the lobby, our spy heard the words "boring" uttered in several languages.

How did that happen? This collection is so wearable.

i love love love it all. i never thought i'd be saying that about versace. there have been times i've been in the versace boutique (out of morbid curiosity) and not found a single thing id even want if it were all free. next spring, that will not be the case.

thank the lord! finally men's versace that is wearable:) albeit predominantly f/w, i think

Hilarious to see Donatella at the end despite the fact that this collection reeks of Plohkov's hand. Good for her, good for him. I'm glad this union has payed off, now only it will move off the racks...

Plohkov has totally redefined the brand and has given the menswear division an actual goal, a different type of customer. Any Cloak fans out there? How do you all feel about this?

gorgeous materials and cuts, really going in the right direction
the color palette is so wintery though, makes everything look a bit heavy for s/s

besides the red-shirts part i trully love everything else... this pretty much saved milan for me... i was getting a bit disapointed

will the shiny fabric-ed suit actually end up in the stores? otherwise, it really will be cloak. i know a lot of the dior homme stuff in shiny fabric get edited down for retails.
