I like Selena and her songs are catchy and make for a nice run session greengrin, but she's a terrible model, I mean, this shot... what were they thinking, mostly Emma, what was she thinking? these are poses to make lankiness aspirational and surreal and it adds to the story, Selena's as compact as it gets so it looks just dumb, same for her expression (or lack of expression). The entire story seems like it was designed for someone else and didn't take into account that it's a celebrity for starters, bland location doesn't quite work because they're already quite bland in order to have so many people relate to them, you need nature, some vastness to give the impression that we're dealing with breathtaking beauty here. Sighs..
This just seems like a bad, last minute move from Vogue Australia in an attempt to sell more.. they ended up delivering possibly the worst september issue out of all vogues so far.
I really like the 3rd photo along with the last two. The rest of them are not working because Selena have an extremely exhausted facial expression, so it's 50/50
