Ah, fast forward to November with all the cover models wearing Gucci then it all makes sense! I'm not opposed to this of course, to me it makes total sense. Apparently Gucci under Frida really struggled to establish a foothold in China. Li Bingbing defection to Dior was apparently part of the reason. So maybe this time they'll be more successful.

Thanks so much for the info, MDNA. . The newsagent in my area still haven't received his issue (which I want to skip, but then there's He Cong, ), so you can only imagine how long I'll have to wait for November.
