Vogue France April 2025 : Vittoria Ceretti by Carin Backoff

I honestly think Claire’s Vogue is way much better than Eugenie’s. Quite surprised to see that this issue has 0 reprinted fashion ed ( I only noticed that they reprinted David Hockney’s article). At least the magazine has more POV now, eventhough its still not perfect, and no longer looked like Edward’s British Vogue translated in French. Even Emmanuelle’s first few years was critically panned here. Quite excited to see future issues of Vogue France if they continue in this trajectory. i only hope that this issue is not a fluke and next month we go back to global reprint fest.

This girl is such an airhead. It’s too much, Wellness Therapy with Khloe Kardashian and Lenny Kravitz? What year is this!!

Eugenie’s Vogue was dismal, yes, especially October and November, but this isn’t much better.

That's because it has 0 fashion eds (Vittoria's cover story aside).

Yes, but they have other original articles / features that they could have easily switched with this month’s shared Theo de Guetzl / Leibovitz eds, but for some reason they didnt.

Alastair McKimm is a serious nepo-generator. Carin is Alastair’s current girlfriend, which I presume is how she landed a French Vogue cover—just like Amy Troost was getting i-D editorials when she was married to him. Carin doesn’t belong in French Vogue, just like Amy didn’t belong in i-D. It’s so disappointing.

I'm sorry but he's not a QUEEN?

Oh come on. This will fly off the shelves! I will buy few copies. Vittoria is drop dead georgeus girl. She is very sexy here. This is one of the best numbers of Vogue France last few years. At least it is original and not reprint.

You also need to respect that some people really dig this and love this.

She is current supermodel and I like that she’s getting all the attention.

Raise your standards.

I can't see myself buying this, but I also can't constantly complain about Vogue being full of reprints and not appreciate that suddenly, there's one edition that's managed to not do that, for the most part.

The content feels like instagram in magazine form, and if you've spent decades with print magazines, you can't help but notice the vacuity of the content, but if modern-day imagery is what you've known, this could be what you want.

Yes, you can complain!!!

I'd take Vogue Spain over Vogue France's offerings. They manage to do a decent job with balancing reprints and original content... usually.
