Vogue Germany August 2016 : Lily, Stella, Irina, Rosie & Emily by Giampaolo Sgura

Stella looks like Sienna Miller

I think Lily's cover is actually nice, Stella's probably my fav here and Irina's not bad either.

When I saw the title of the thread I thought it was Emily Didonato, would have preferred this.

Vogue Germany is promissing us to do everything new every second month and we get the same **** every time, this time on 5 different covers, how innovative...

The covers are boring. The subjects are boring. Everything about this is f-ing boring.

I'm actually surprised at how nice Lily looks here.
IMO: Irina/Stella > Lily > Rosie > Emily

Hands down Rosie has the best cover and editorial!!! Irina's is okay, but goodness Lily and that same face over and over. So bland.

Thanks so much for posting, Helligirl

imo
I still prefer Irina & Stella´s covers, Stella´s editorial is the best of the bunch.
Lily´s editorial is the worst, even Emily´s is better than hers...
The styling in Rosie´s is not very creative which makes it kinda boring.

I think that Lily & Emily´s covers/editorials were expendable

These editorials... where's the consistency? It's like i'm looking at 4 different magazines. The last edito screams Vogue Japan.

Emily's editorial... is it a joke??
Stella is the only one who looks like a model who knows how to do her job. Rosie has her usual face, pretty boring.

As much as I feel like Lily is a very weak model, Emily's editorial is the worst. She made the same bad expression throughout the editorial and I just don't get her as a model.

All my least favourite models in one issue.

And what's the point of having 5 covers?

Hands down Rosie has the best cover and editorial!!! Irina's is okay, but goodness Lily and that same face over and over. So bland.

Ditto, Rosie´s story and face is the only one that is a bit interesting but the rest are just soooo BLAND!! OMG

The covers are boring. The subjects are boring. Everything about this is f-ing boring.

Indeed and the styling and poses don´t give me ANY story or cohesiveness whatsoever. But then again it´s German Vogue, they are not known for their creativity anyways. Their magazine looks like a catalogue issue after issue.

The quality of the photography may not support five covers and editorials and I'm not sure I'm in love with any of this, but, Vogue Deutsch ends up being my favorite Vogue edition because they feature models so often.
We're into August and not one boring celebrity cover and ed in nine months! We can all debate what is worse boring celebrity covers and eds or boring model covers and eds. For me I think there's more potential with boring models. Even Emily's ed doesn't irk me so much.
