I've only managed to find this pic yet from the Vogue India website

Another actress:ninja:

I don't know who she is but her expression makes her instantly unlikeable! They need to come up with some more sophisticated cover ideas.

Indeed. They're practically veering into Marie Claire territory :( ... thus far the covers have been anything but refined.

i think the red thing in the background and the dress ruin it! Vogue India has been quite a dissapointment!

don't like her face expression. Lokks like it is saying "haha, i'm on a vogue cover"

it looks like one of those photoshopped vogue covers...so amateur...and really tacky, unfortunately....i was looking forward to vogue india but so far it's been disappointing..:innocent:

Thats a terrible cover, from her facial expression to the colours....it just awful,......and who is she??

She's a popular South Indian actresses who is now making her debut in bollywood.

For me it's probably the worse cover so far. I really dislike her makeup, and the background and shot just ruins the dress...

So true . So far, I'm thinking whoever does Vogue India covers also hates the idea of all these actresses getting the post. The only good one I can recall recently is Lakshmi's.

Wow, you'd think Vogue India would be more selective about who gets on the cover.

Unsurprisingly Vogue India has produced another awful cover, I think this one has to be one of the worst, if not the worst.

I'm finding that Vogue India has been less about fashion but more influenced by Bollywood considering the amount of actresses who have been on the covers.

However, I can understand the magazine using well known faces, but at least they can make these well know faces look good!

I also think they be trying to promote the magazine more in South India, considering Asin is very, very popular there.

Good thing i didnt subscribe to Vogue India. Really going from bad to worse. Think i'll go back to my British Vogues once again. Among the Indian magazines, I'm quite liking Grazia India. Covers are horrible there too, but at least you're not expecting any miracles with Grazia. Its contents are easy, breezy and you toss it aside when you're done. With Vogue, you EXPECT more!

I dont even see any sense in having bollywood actresses on the cover. those interested in filmy actresses pick up filmy magazines like Filmfare etc. Are they really gonna spend a hundred bucks on their favorite actress dressed "tastefully" (read: all covered up)?

Lets have MODELS (C'mon, Priya Tanna, surely you've heard of the word?!) on the covers. The Laxmi Menon cover was the best Vogue India has had so far. Or how about a medley of Indian fashion designers on the cover?

For what it's worth I think it's ok, I don't think they are trying to go Vogue Italia status or anything.

they're really going all out with the South Indian actresses theme. Virtual unknown Asin on the cover, and a Bollywood actor interviewing another unknown Shriya. All thats left is an official endorsement of Vogue by Rajnikant:rolleyes:
