I noticed you hotlinked the images

It would really be a shame if 3 months from now all the pictures turn into red X's because the sites you hotlinked from either removed the images or changed the url.. ..that would pretty much ruin this thread for any members wanting to view it the future..

Have you considered saving the pictures to your own computer and uploading them via tFS's image attacher...or a image hosting site...it's actually quiet easy

is she an actress or cricket star? That aside, its not a very interesting cover, Vogue India needs to revamp its image..Elle India is giving them a run for their money

Horrible. Just horrible cover. everything about it - the cover model, the pose, the font face and size (Its one thing to annouce "Spring 08" in large font at the bottom of the mag, but just doesnt make any sense to print the name of an actress already known to all here in india. If she is not known, then whats the argument of Vogue to not have a model (Who does Ujjwala Raut have to hump to get a cover of Indian Vogue?!)?

nope. no editorial either. Just one feature in "Maids of Manhattan" along with other indian damsels like Padma Lakshmi.

They're a bit too all over Bollywood. I thought it was ridiculous when Gauri Khan got a cover in praise of her "style". The woman dresses like trash.

..but at least Priety is elegant and has a charisma of her own - but come on guys, this is Vogue India. They think the Body Shop is cutting edge. Let's not expect too much for now.

This is creepy. The last time I watched The Eye and the next day Shu Qi is on the cover of the latest Vogue China. And today, I just watched Dil Hai Tumhaara and now Preity is on the cover of Vogue India

I like Preity a lot actually - she's youthful, modern, and classy - and I think she looks good. But the cover styling - not really the clothes, so much as how the graphics team lays out the cover - is really pedestrian.

It's just a lot more Glamour than Vogue atm.

Why can't Ujjwala Raut or Lakshmi Menon have a cover?! They are far more beautiful and far more interesting than all the Bollywood starlets.

I know Vogue India hasn't been around for long, but I'm ready for them to really find their own identity...I mean, there have been some spectacular editorials (Lakshmi's jewelry editorial, for example, was absolutely stunning)...but the covers have all been lacking. They all feel like Vogue US or Vogue UK covers so far.

Lakshmi Menon has already had a cover of Vogue India, she was on the April 2008 issue. Which happened to be the best cover they have ever had for Vogue India, so far.

Like two other people in this thread, I like Preity Zinta, and I don't mind that she is on the cover, I like her more than most of the bollywood brigade. Even though I like her the cover is

Now I'm waiting for Ujjwala to show up on the cover and show them what Vogue India cover should look like!
