Vogue Italia December 2015 by Tim Walker

Vogue Italia, stop trying to be the next Dazed or even i-D. It doesn't work. I'm tired by this sort of covers! Ughh.

Lord please help this magazine, I mean what is this. A emoji jacket really?

What an eyesore!! The font..in fact apart from liking HER, i don't like anything about this!

Indeed an eyesore, I want to mimick the monkeys on the jacket!

They had with that tagline, that´s all that matters to me

but yeah, I don´t get that cover... like someone said, very Dazed. They had TW, they could have made something way more interesting that also appeals to younger audiences. Hopefully there will at least 1 better cover...

Very Dazed & Confused indeed, will wait to see the other 4 covers...

God, how depressing!! And I've been waiting ages for Tim's VI cover, never thought it'd be something so contrived. I'm hoping at least the rest of the covers will look better. I don't care for this girl at all. This magazine is finished!

I guess it's an issue about peace or LBGT (the rainbow colors of the vogue)
this girl has such striking stare that i didnt see the jkt (which i guess is what ppl are refering to when they say it looks like a dc cover ?)

i like tim walker, but ... an whole issue just with him might get me zzzz

everybody is gonna laugh i know ... its old news for y'all ... but what was the last meisel cover story for VI ? is he "freelance" now ? or still in (exclusive) contract with CNast?

I'm sorry Franca but your magazine is having a major identity crisis. VOGUE ITALIA by Franca Sozzani is VOGUE ITALIA by MEISEL. No matter how boring, tired or uninspired some may think it is but it is the reality.

You want a newer, fresher Vogue Italia? Just leave your position of EIC!

You can't win with anb illusion of new, it has to be totally new!
I think it's time for Franca to leave Vogue Italia...

This is just sad. The amount of desperation that Franka and co display to stay hip and relevant is enough to make you cry. Every single thing about this cover is try-hard. In fact, the cover should go in the dictionary because no words can describe "try-hard" as perfectly.

that makes me think maybe she isn't such a great editor after all.. Meisel (as much as I can never forgive for him not putting my fav model on the cover;-D) clearly drove the whole magazine... and maybe it was him who actually decided to leave because his work started looking boring and tired... Franca seems to have no vision at all... I don't mind the cover if it was for i-D but not Vogue Italia... and WTF with multicovers? trying to please everyone? I suppose they have to do this nowadays in order to sell... that's our fault to some extend too;-)))

The model is beautiful! The styling is a mess.

I hope the other 4 covers did it better.

I never imagined I would see Adwoa on the cover of VI. Great for her!

Albeit, its odd. This does not look like a vogue cover for any edition. But it looks better than what M&M did.

I'm confused w people complainin that much about multiple covers (i thought ppl would get use to it w time) ...
because i feel like actually this multiple covers are here to please you people ! ahah ...
since "we" always want another model, a shot from a different editorial to end on the cover ...

so i've checked the other VI, and yes it aint the best year ...
(btw tFS, i LOVE the tags ... Ive noticed this recently ... But you should work something out so we can click "vogue italia" and not just "italia" ... IT team? sorry off-topic ... jeez ... I told ya ....)

Guillaume, thats actually made for advertisers rather than readers- you can show another cover with advertiserts credit on it to show the good PR ROI, and since covers are printed separately from the issue itself - you`re not even missing money from it. ANd for selling it better too, but thats secondarily
:P

Yes, it seems in the months when it's not Meisel, it becomes i-D.

Meisel was indeed Vogue Italia.. and every single issue made without him just goes to prove that. The cover is okay, but not for a Vogue Italia cover. This is more i-D or Dazed! Pop even! Franca, this magazine is suffering from your own vision!
