Vogue Italia January 2009 : Anna Selezneva, Anna Maria J & Viktoriya by Steven Meisel

I love the Gareth Pugh picture, even though she seems uncomfortable on it.

the main editorial is really unique, i love it, too bad its not longer

Constance's look seems so commercial to me most of the time -- it just doesn't work with things like Gareth Pugh.

I think the cover's really great; the more I stare at it, the more I think that its likeAnna Maria, Anna and Viktoriya are all standing behind a glass window, with the nearly opaque Vogue title being printed on the glass window. They're promoting the cool sophisticated side of the word 'Vogue'. Unlike many of the other Vogues that are printed, one word, in this case 'evolution' can spell out what the main idea for this issue is. the focus is still all on the shot of the three girls. Many other Vogues rely on using big, bold or colourful titles and words to capture attention, but with Vogue Italia, like with this issue, you can see why many people see it as a leading Vogue. It stands in a class of its own, drawing in audiences with their own brand of power. Even though the content might not be what you expect, the cover already successfully lures people in.

I think Constance Jablonski put the same face over and over again!

Janaury covers have been fold out covers since at least 2003, so maybe this is a fold out cover as well. I hope it is.

Thanks for the bigger cover Bianca, Anna just steals the show here for me.

All 3 girls look flawless on the cover... Definitely a must-have issue!
