it’s unbelievable! it’s there and I still can’t believe it.
WTF?!!!

I just can’t with this guy anymore. VI is not an experimental magazine where you can try out stupid layouts, ridiculous lettering and gimmicky themes that are not even well related to Fashion (as they should).
I read somewhere on this Forum that this Farneti d*ckhead mentioned that he didn’t like very aggressive, overly sexual and bla bla bla themes but then you come up with this insipid bs month after month.

Great that they got Andres Serrano to shoot a cover. Love his work (especially his Immersions series).

But an actual beehive on the cover? What the actual f*ck?!?!

This is the second VI cover in recent memory that has elicited actual tears of laughter. Every time I think they've hit a new low, they outdo themselves. The hustle never stops!

these animal theme could’ve been so well executed if there’s was indeed a brilliant mind behind it...

couple of examples; McQueen’s ad campaign for instance with the snakes (the Plato Atlantis one) and Raquel Zimmerman, the other McQueen one with the honey dripping from the models face (Raquel again and so well related to bees), there’s many many images of models holding lambs (Arizona comes to mind, Vodianova too I think)...

I mean, even the image used like @Ken Doll Jenner very well pointed out it’s not symmetrical or similar AT ALL.

Call me crazy, but I actually love this - Vogue often had these kinds of abstract / still life, non-fashion covers in the past. I'd be curious to pick it up and see what was within the pages.

I agree 100%.

Can you imagine hiring an actual talent to shoot this or pay an homage to Irving Penn and his iconic photography instead of this cr*p gimmick?

Could have someone like Carlijn Jacobs to produce a still life, she's at least good at it. (according to the still life pics on her Insta).
