Not sure if this deserves its own thread, but here it is.

Our beloved word on TFS applies here: Mess.

They could at least bother to search for a decent color scheme, the Vogue logo looks like it belongs in "Vogue Bambini"...They truly don't care do they?

the whole focus is on her teeth which are evidently terrible... what a monstrosity!

Too much hair and art direction to render this image iconic, but I'm glad they've selected one of their own outtakes.
Complaining about Lara's 'terrible' teeth is like complaining about Gisele's curves. Both played an important part in these women's careers.

I wish they kept this layout with their actual covers

A Book?
Do they really think their work is worthy of a book? No.

Gums. GUMS!

Before producing a book, why not try to produce a half-decent cover first.

I agree with Benn98 on Lara's teeth, it's a part of her appeal and it's one of the reasons why I quite like that cover despite its flaws.

But also agree with MyNameIs to some extent, why producing a book when most covers and contents they produce are far from deserving any kind of retrospective or whatever this is supposed to be. And isn't Vogue NL still young somehow? Is it really necessary to release this "book" so soon? What is their exact (or even approximative) purpose?

As for the contents to expect, I'm looking forward to seeing what I guess is their cover story (shots of Lara, Doutzen etc.) but is it going to be another bunch of reprints mostly?

I don´t get what they mean by "Book", at first I thought it was gonna be all Lara but seems like a regular issue to me...

It's not just a book with pictures. It's not even a book technically. It's an annual special edition containing a selection of interviews, stories and images. It's published during the summer, so the Dutch housewife has something extra to enjoy during her vacation. It's all pretty lame if you ask me.

I really like this "books" actually. I bought the last two. It's just reprints of nice or iconic pictures, what's there to complain? And it's not that expensive anyway.

Seeing Lara Stone now feels so weird... Like you are looking at something from another time.

Two? There was one before the last?
I bought into the last one thinking it will be filled with rare never-seen-before images, but, like I said elsewhere, we've seen those shots before. And I already own quite a few photographic compilation books. So getting a flimsy little magazine doesn't come close to that.
Mikel is right, it seems more like something to occupy the Dutch housewives, lol.

Yep there is another one. The first one was much better than the second, but i still like the concept. And i got a really good deal on the second, I bought a pack at Schiphol airport that came with the "book", that months Vogue, Vogue Homme NL and a T-shirt, for much less than half the price . I presume Vogue NL is not an amazing success.

Complaints about Lara Stone's teeth?! I feel like I've stepped into a timewarp!

That member isn't a fan of Lara Stone, can't remember a positive comment from her about Lara. That's fine, everyone has their favourites. But the comment about Lara's teeth is just lame, like Vogue Netherlands. Why on earth is there another book? I do look forward to Lara's possible cover by Lindbergh. I skip this.
