Vogue Paris April 2013 : Isabeli Fontana by Mario Testino

Good lord! Sorry! I meant under Emmanuelle Alt! And i think Emmanuelle was the editor-in-chief of French magazine 20 ans and not Glamour? So LOL at me!
But still total copycat of the 90's French glamour.

I do feel for Isabeli.. they probably have 100's of more better photos they could have picked from. Her expression is awful, and the styling. WTF

What in lucifer is going on with that cover? Beyond awful. Please tell me this is not an actual cover? It can't be. It's the opposite of everything Vogue Paris is. The pose is awkward, Isabeli looks terrible, that Dolce look is atrocious and the too much color with no subtlety whatsoever. And why is Isabel on the cover again anyway? It's one thing to feature the same models in the magazine, but why must Alt recycle the cover choices as well?

Can't imagine a worse looking Vogue cover to come out this year. The bar has been set real high, or low.

Oh god. How can an editor send this to print thinking it looks good? The pose is wrong, the expression is wrong, the styling is wrong, the neck looks short, the face is too airbrushed...

I must be fair, I criticize Vogue Brazil all the time, but their Peru+Testino cover (with Lara Stone) can't even be compared to this photography-wise. The layout was awful but at least the picture was well chosen. I really don't get this.

Looking forward to the editorial...the cover is a very unexpected one, albeit good!

Dang, Isabeli is on a roll lately.
Idk, the cover is obviously disappointing. I love that the theme is VP does Peru (such a big fan of the culture), but this utter crap. The styling, especially, could've been way better and the pose/composition of it all just doesn't work, imo.

and Aymeline Valade, the Peruvian coast with Kate Moss and the Nazca desert with Erin Wasson.

WAIT! So an editorial with Erin in the desert? This I gotta see. :D

Last month's cover is better compared to this TBH, but i need to see this in real life before making further judgement, because what looks like a photoshop disaster on computer screen usually looks "normal" or okay in real life.. but from what i look here, Isabeli face does look too much airbrushed.
The more positive side of the cover is that it's definitely eyecatching and i hope there will be a lot of colors in this issue, usually Emmanuelle's VP is B/W photos galore

OMG!!! :buzz: I'm soo excited that there's now Vogue Peru!!! This is something I'm excited about! Isabeli is the perfect choice for their first issue. It's radiant and full of cultural references. :heart:Amor!

 Aedlacir, I'm with you, that would have been a nice debut for a Vogue Peru cover!

Am I the only who doesn't hate this? There are many mistakes here, mostly from retouching, but it's not a terrible cover imo. It's actually well composed chromatically and formally, and the typography is pretty decent in ever way (amount, locations and colors) cause it balances the result as a whole by giving to it the right contrast, and the location is just dreamy. Love the concept too.

I don't hate this either.i mean is not my favorite cover lol,but its far from horrible IMO. the only thing that bothers me is the hat,Isabeli face would have look much better n get much attention with out the hat IMO. everything else is okay.

I also want to see Aymeline editorial.
karma to Aedlacir lmfao

Aedlacir makes perfect sence. I know Testino is promoting Peru and he even had the big editorial for Vogue US September issue but it makes zero sence to make it the main editorial and cover of French Vogue.

Ugh ... terrible cover! outfit and photoshop are so bad! a shame because I really like the duo Isabeli and Mario. :(

The cover has too many things to nit-pick about for me, especially the inclusion of the stonewall that interrupts what could have been a very nice, clean composition. I don't think there is any model that could have made that styling look at least decent....

I'm looking forward to seeing Erin Wasson..always liked her.

A real Peruvian model, say, Juana Burga should have been on the cover, now that would have actually looked good. The styling is awful and being Peruvian was really excited for this issue, but seeing this, I just pray Juana's editorial in the magazine isn't a train wreck, even though she always delivers in print.
