Rianne for Vogue Paris is what Vittoria is for Vogue Japan.

It just feels so retro to have a model make repeat cover appearances for the same magazine in such a short period of time.

God, this is sickening! I generally don't have a strong opinion on Rianne (mostly indifferent), but Emmanuelle Alt will make me loathe her. There's absolutely no justification for giving her this many repeat covers in the same year when there is a long list of working models who could do with booking VP??

As for the cover, there are models who can be photographed that close. The great beauties. Grace, Vittoria etc. Rianne isn't one of them.

Surprisingly enough, I've warmed to seeing Rianne for Vogue Paris. Its become synonymous in the way that you would see Lara, Natasha, or Daria grace the cover. When I first saw the image I thought it was striking, then I read the comments about how super zoomed in the shot was and I took a second look. Yeah, my initial reaction has worn off. Her eyes, the skin, her dead expression. Just doesn't work after a second viewing.

It would have been nice of Alt to throw this support behind Luna. I mean she technically launched Luna's career, why is she not getting 3-4 covers a year?

are you kidding? it was my first thought that Rianne will be on the cover again, and i thought that this is so insane and just hilarious from VP publisher standpoint, i don`t mean Emmanuelle, who`s already made her descent into the madness and totally burnout professionally, seems like publisher is no longer decision maker at conde...

also, the close up is too ‘close’!!! and her expression is not strong enough (on this shot)
like I have said before, Alt’s Vogue is full of hits and misses and this is a HUGE MISS.
hopefully the editorials inside will be good.

^This ! Alt wants to make it happen with Jansson but never managed to. Jansson is only good with KT or AB like CR is only good with Testino. Alt should stick to Purienne/ I&V/Slimane or maybe try with Luigi&Iango.

Her obsession with Rianne is weird because the latter is so far looking-wise from her gang : Daria, Kate, Gisele, Natasha, Raquel, etc

I really like Rianne, but there's so many interesting rising girls in the industry! Like Kerolyn Soares, Maty Fall Diba, Akon Changkou, Barbara Valente and more.... we really need to move forward.

Leave her alone! Girl was exclusive for LV for years. For now Rianne is/was the face of almost every single big brand in Paris (Chanel, Chloé, Givenchy, Isabel Marant, Loewe) and you surprised she’s that often on a cover? Girl has talent and hilarious personality. I hope there will be even more covers in future.
