I like to think that Emmanuelle intentionally closed her final issue with the visual of a freshly dug grave hole. Brilliant! The issue is certainly a collector's item.

I must confess I'm baffled that there was no sight of Rianne! So rude.

Anyway, this makes me wish there was a digitalized archive of Vogue Paris. If L'Officiel can (could) do it, then Vogue Paris can for sure..

It’s great to see so many iconic images together. But in the end it’s all very lack lustre for an anniversary issue.

So, no Lara Stone, Natalia Vodianova, Rianne or Saskia de Braw? Like it or not, next to Kate, Daria and Natasha, they were the epitome of the perfect Vogue Paris cover girl.

A sad indictment of fashion (and Vogue Paris) in 2021. No one seems to have anything new or valuable to say in this industry anymore? Have we truly reached the end of editorial fashion?

I love classic fashion photography as much as the next person, but fashion usually references the past in order to look ahead to the future, the next thing. Will there be a 200th anniversary issue? Unlikely, given the current state of things under Condé Nast. There's no sense of 'the next thing' here. This all feels like a farewell issue to Vogue Paris itself, and I fear it probably will be.

My overall feeling is sadness, not for Alt who I never really cared for, but for what this "anniversary issue" says about the future of fashion magazines and Vogue Paris.

That's it? A very underwhelming anniversary. Even the archive photos are leave me cold. They're beautiful but the layouts and the way they're put together create no visual impact.

I hate when something that presented as a retrospective but didn't have a chronological order. It's will be so much better if we have VP by the decades. But it's probably for the best. Can you imagine flip through JJB and Carine eras only to end with Alt. You can see how tame Alt is when she by herself and when she has Carine to push her.

Thank to these people (and CN), I already move on from Vogue.
