Vogue Russia March 2014 : Anja Rubik by Patrick Demarchelier

Thank you for the HQ Avogadro! My suspicions were right, her necklace is a lux tampon applicator. The cover's a bloody mess.

Much better edit than cover. Thanks for sharing, Avogadro!

pun-intended?

Anyway, the breast on the cover is unnecessary however, they are kind of smart. they will be getting people's attention with this on the stands if it can be displayed without a plastic bag with strategic writing and colour blocks

but if i must say so, anja looks youthful and beautiful. i like the ed overall

I don't get everyone's issue about Anja's exposed breast. Shirtless men are featured on covers all the time and no one's complaining. Why is it such a big deal?

The problem here is not Anja's breasts. It's society's perception of the female body.

The edit is sexy and gorg would've preferred any other shot than the cover shot, I have no problem with the female body, I think its beautiful but doesn't need to be on the cover.

Nudity on the cover, can newsstands display this? I mean, without a plastic bag or something like that...
I don't think it might be a problem in Russia:greengrin:

There is "Beauty and sex" written on a cover, so I guess, this is a sort of themed edition and the reason why Anja is showing her nipple. Anyway I am not a fan of the cover, I just think that not showing any boobs might be much sexier than doing so, I would rather see some more subtle skin showing, a less in your face sensual shot for a cover.

^^What do you mean it doesn't 'need' to be on the cover? Nothing 'needs' to be anywhere. Like I said, I don't see anyone having issues with shirtless male models on covers. You're basically saying that the female body is beautiful but it shouldn't be too out there.

Every time a mag shoots an ed in Peru they resort to the same type of styling, it´s become so boring imo

I guess not :D I thought that Russia of all places wouldn´t allow it.
It's not like that at all, nothing is covered, you can see any kind of magazines being put on a display without any special protection from children's or anyone else's eyes
