W October 2009 : Uma Thurman by Steven Klein

Steven Klein's style is becoming very ambiguous in W...one month he looks like McDean, the next Akrans, this one is quite M&M style.

thats actually only once -in sept 2008 W issue that M&M did shoot like this- with Kate Hudson and that was absolutely steven klein ed reception with some exception- lack of stupid and unnecessary poses and actions. colors, even post-production and location and atmosphere was absolutely Klein`s. that one -too. i have no doubt its Steven

Ah the ol' tired androgynous Freja schtick again...She pulls it off so well, I can't even complain. Still got it.

I'm so glad Roversi has an ed inside..., I've been missing him in W...now bring back Michael Thompson please . This is the only October issue I'm excited about so far.

BTW I'm sure it's a couture ed (to some degree)

the preview of those 2 editorials is great. "Art & Commerce" looks interesting. and my god, "Dream Sequence" looks promising!!! Roversi never fails to tickle one's interest as he got me again with his latest editorial. can't wait to see the whole ed.! and yes, it's been along time since Roversi did a shoot for W.

but wait, this is the issue wherein Linda has an editorial that has a religious-like theme right???

I'm taking that Raquel & Freja's editorial is from this shooting in Paris outside the Pompidou?
The over-the-top styling looks pretty similar. But wasn't Emmanuelle also at the shooting? Just she isn't credited.

^I don't think so, becasue Raquels hairstyle is very different compared to her hair in the W ed and Emmannuele Alt doens't work for W, if I'm not mistaken, and Freja wasn't sighted at that shoot.

Roversi seems to be not working with polaroid this time, but his soul is definitely there.

Yes your correct. I'm was just jumping to conclusions after seeing the Pompidou centre.
