What are you doing to your hair next?

I am doing to touch up my roots this afternoon. i hate how i have to designate a whole night for it but then it looks awesome after.
next week i might dye my hair a cotton candy light pink.

I got a couple inches chopped off today. The person who cut my hair styled it like something out of the early 60s. It kind of makes me wish I had a fun early 60s dress since with this hair I might as well be wearing one right now while listening to The Shangri-Las.

i have long dark brown hair and i want to add some dimmension to it. however, i have a skin problem that makes me have to use medicated shampoo. so if i got highlights they would strip out pretty easy. i was think maybe if i got some subtle highlights on the underside of my hair it may not be seen as much when it starts to wash out. i really dont know what this will look like. i dont think i have ever seen this done. how does it sound to yall?

Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask but has anyone else brought in a picture of what they want their hair to be cut like? My next hair appointment is coming up and I want to bring in a picture of a celebrity whose hair type/cut I really want but I'd feel like an idiot for bringing the picture in...thoughts/comments?

^ A picture is completely normal ... I've done it several times. I always take the whole magazine or catalog because my hairstylist likes to look at the different angles.

You have pretty hair. Maybe you could call the company that makes your shampoo, or check their website, and see what they recommend about color. Or maybe you can check with your dermatologist & see if there's a shampoo you could use that's intended for colored hair. I like your natural hair color ...

I'm having my graduation party soonish (at the end of May), so I have to figure out what I'm going to do to my hair. right now I longest roots ever (my natural colour is somewhat greyish) and the dyed part of my hair is brown. I'm thinking of going blonder, apparently it would suit my skincolour (according to my Mom), and I have to cut my hair shorter. I'd like to go back to black, I always love my hair when it's black but apparently it would look too goth-style

not really, but I'm too a good girl to go against my Mom's wishes I'll probably go back to black at the end of the summer / by the time I start school again.

I'm probably going to dye my hair back to natural black in a couple months after about a year of highlighting/dying it light ash brown.

I've been waiting for my hair to sufficiently fade before re-doing the dye. Right now it's kind of a burgundy but I think next time I'll dye it much darker like plum black.
What I would love to do is get a heart shaved into the side of my hair near my ear and dyed hot pink! I've wanted it for a while but am not sure if my stylist could pull it off or not. The last thing I'd want is a wonky shape shaved into my head I'll be seeing my sister the end of next month and she's an amazing hair stylist, so maybe I'll see if she can do it for me.

Went from being a brunette (think Chestnut) to Lindsay Lohan Red to going lighter with some highlights...and my next step is to get even lighter. Im sick of the red and want just a pretty blonde.

but i am getting bored with them yet again...
so i am planning to take them off and cute my hair like this:

shorter back and longer in front and side bangs.

I'm growing my hair out. I've been working on that for some years now, but every time I go to the hairdresser for a little trim they take off way too much so I'm not getting anywhere with my project

Now I've decided not to see the hairdresser until next year. In the meantime I plan on doing my own trims.
