Great to hear your happy with the results!! The tip always takes the longest for all the swelling to go down. If you dont have an incision on the columella between your nostrils it'll be a lot faster than if you do.

Iv always wanted to get my nose done, as i am half arab and half indian iv inherited my dads sharp asian nose everyone tells me my nose suits me and theres nothing wrong with it but the bump bothers me and iv decided to shave it down, I went to my first consultation last week, and my PS was just lovely, however he pointed out that my nostrils "flare" and go up abit when i smile .. something i never noticed all in all he suggested for my nose to be shaved down, nostrils brought in abit and lifting the tip of my nose just abit. i dnt how i feel about the lifting because i feel im going to have a europeanesque nose on a very asian face and it will look fake no? i have my follow up next week where he explains everything else in more detail to me and my mother as i only had 15mins with him last time as i ran super late ahh

Experienced plastic surgeons can identify things we may not be able to see, my surgeon lengthened my nose a little which didn't bother me before but now I agree with him it's better. However it's your nose and there are so many bad surgeons are there you should be careful. I'd do some research to find out who the best in your area are and consult with them, see what they suggest to be done.

Her nose is so bad! She's had quite a lot of work done, I think. She looks really odd. European noses only work on Europeans, let me put it like that

I'm so happy to hear that...I can't wait for the tip to come down, I feel like I look like a pig I have no idea how my doctor could do all her magic from such small scars! I have the tiniest little scars just inside the top of my nostrils. I haven't felt any pain in my scars at all, actually, they're so small.

my view is do whatever makes you happy when it comes to appearances

To each their own, especially if they have a facial/bodily feature that makes them very unhappy. If they have the means to get that feature fixed/altered/corrected, I say go for it!

But sometimes, the end result can look ridiculous. I once saw a young 20-something girl at a high-end store who obviously had had work done on her lips. She looked awful with her obviously plumped-up lips.

i went to dr barry jones on upper wimpole st back in december and he suggested the same thing as Dr Grover on harley st ( the one i recently went too )

i would never go for a nancy ajram nose iv made it very clear that if i was to lift my tip is just to balance it out and not make it high, i want everything to be super natural, a more delicate profile, as for my flarey nostrils i dont know im quite happy with them, it was merely a suggestion, i would never go for the pinched look he ment just to bring them in a little but nothing drastic but i trust his opinion, hes done 2 of my friends nose's and the results were very natural and beautiful... we'll see in the next follow up with my mumma he will explain everything in more detail... not sure how shes gna feel about it

I find it funny that people categorize the defintion of beauty depending on a certain niche whether its hollywood or other sectors...to me nose flares isnt a sign of beauty...it may look amazing on one person and not soo much on another person...i think a person should take into consideration the whole physical aspect, not just a tiny beauty sign that may look good or not...for heavens sakes...boob jobs...women went crazy on DDs and FF's larger than what their body could take...and no its not a sign of beauty...

I say whatever makes the person happy, and confident is a sign of beauty...
